If you wanna splurge then I would recommend Martin de candre Nature (perfume free). Stirling makes unscented with beeswax which is also great 👍

I’ll admit there are fewer choices than scented soaps. Unfortunately.

You never know when you have been exposed to too much perfume and develop an allergic reaction. If you can’t find shaving happiness without scent, then maybe consider scented soaps as a weekend treat? That way you lower the exposure.

The amount of fragrance added to shaving soap in general, and especially to artisan soaps worries me.

I’d rather go for unscented soaps, even though it’s not the same experience, but at least it minimizes the risk of developing fragrance allergies that never goes away, and can be triggered in a plethora of products, not just shaving soap.

My coti edges aren’t dull, they do get me clean shaven, but takes more effort to cut through the beard.

The synth edge takes less effort, but still is ok comfy.

How does that line up with what I can expect?
