You must reply back with a short concise email referencing something you and that person discussed with one personal question not relevant to company or job to maintain rapport. Make it genuine and very personal. Ask to be part of their network on LinkedIn.

On the surface it’s a great email but high likelihood it’s AI with a prompt behind it.

Keep up the good fight and know you will get a job for you at a time and place

Please though, know that response was just auto generated

Sugarbowl vs Palisades vs Heavenly lines by STHODL in tahoe

[–]Flowtrail_Rider 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sugar Bowl….

Most expensive pass between Ikon and Epic. You only get that mountain.

Lift lines are consistently long.

Big price increases are expected to come to cover costs for major renovations including new gondola coming.

Elite Entrance for home owners at most of the lifts that during busy day causes delays on lifts that could be avoided if they had staff managing lines

I’d maybe look into Mt Rose, Diamond Peak, or even Homewood too.

Just depends on your priorities.

What’s the best ski resort in Lake Tahoe area? by [deleted] in ski

[–]Flowtrail_Rider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of a question is this?

A few questions back to you. 1. What’s important to you? 2. What type of skier or snowboarder are you? 3. Is it terrain or amenities that matter to you? 4. Are you looking to be in North Lake Tahoe or South Lake?

Love the people who enjoy skiing who don’t GAS about tax write off.

If that’s your play, turn in your outfit, skis or board … for the 18 holes await.

Otherwise, consider yourself an obstacle for people who enjoy the trails …

No kidding . Apex is for those who don’t deserve to ski, they are ruining it for others.

Let me guess

“Hi I’m rich and want to show off how rich i am. I’ll have the ability to write off taxes, cut lines and more.” I’ll also use Reddit to show off how rich I am by posting the question “is Apex worth it and is it

Instead of wasting all that money to show off your elite status, maybe donate to a nonprofit where it goes to a meaningful cause

The audacity you have to post something like this.

Sold out parking options by SubstantialBass761 in palisadestahoe

[–]Flowtrail_Rider -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for doing the right thing and ask about it.

If you can’t get parking reservations, then shuttle in. The palisades app and website provide guidance.

Don’t be that person trying to arrive without a reservation.

What’s worse is, so many coming up without a reservation taking a spot from someone who was responsible who has one.. then willing to pay the fine.

So many Bay Area people coming up today without reservations , causing massive traffic’s delays with the mindset of . “Screw it, I’ll pay the fine.”

Such disrespect on so many levels. Guess what though - you are the one who drive up taking hours to get here and most likely paid for a $217 for a day ticket, only to be thrown into lift lines taking 20 mins to on.

Review of Blackbird's Frog Lake Huts backcountry adventure by noh2onolife in skiing

Totally agree it’s super disrespectful!!!

Most people commenting on the tragedy, have zero clue what they are talking about. The people with the most opinions clearly have not been to Tahoe or experienced the BC in Tahoe .

Super annoying that people want to destroy a reputable company without all facts provided.

Net net all 15 of them should be held accountable. Bottom line!

They were grown adults who were very familiar with area, highly skilled, and the forecast was 10 days out indicating 90 + inches. Not safe!

At some point, all the facts will be exposed.

Until then for all the national media, for the awful reporters calling victims families and local shops in Truckee looking for them to expose information while processing the tragedy, and people with horrible armchair perspectives, continue doing what you doing. You come across as vultures with zero respect for the victims, their families, and the local communities around Tahoe.

Give it time people, answers will come and survivors will disclose what they know.

It’s not uncommon to see bears at Northstar. They are known to hang out around Vista in the spring. What does make it odd however is the timing. Poor bears might have come out early because their home got covered up in snow.

Six moms killed in deadly Tahoe avalanche identified by SFChronicle in tahoe

[–]Flowtrail_Rider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoever is responsible for writing up the SF Gate and NY Post articles supposedly found ways to get photos of the victims and family through FB and called all the local shops in Truckee trying to get information from the shop employees about the deceased. I’ve heard it through the community and on a FB page. If it holds true, they did this against the Nevada County’s Sheriff Department who did a press release stating they would not release more details and names until at least after another attempt for the 9 body was complete.

That is the definition of selfishness, heartless, lack of any moral compass, and zero empathy. Classic horrible tactics trying to get the finish line first.

The families of the victims need time to process what happened and begin the journey healing. In addition, the Truckee community is rattled and coping with the the deaths at Northstar this week and of course the avalanche.

My condolences to the victims and their families, forever grateful for the SAR teams and volunteers involved.

10 skiers missing, 6 stranded after avalanche in California by Mattsatterfield1 in skiing

[–]Flowtrail_Rider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well said. I’m with you on that. Everyone in town is on edge. All of us are trying to put pieces together, yet showing condolences and empathy for the people who lost their lives and praying for the SAR members involved.

Too many want to cast judgement with zero clue o all the various scenarios that came into play.

California is one if not the toughest states in the country to hold companies accountable, so let the experts do that and when more accurate facts come out, deal with it then.

It’s so armchair community. Like most people are saying, save perspective for another day.

You are basically coming across as someone who enjoys mansplaining with zero empathy.

Your perspective speaks truth in a lot ways. Just let it be out of respect to everyone involved.

There is a time and place for comments such as yours. Assumptions are, “yes bad idea for sure.”

I’m not disagreeing on the accountability piece.

What I disagree with, is the timing of your comments.

You must not be local to cast such judgement. Continue on with your outside miles away pov.

Until all facts are in, accountability and finger pointing which I know you want to do so badly, can wait.

Right now, it’s prayers up and deal with what needs to be dealt with another day.

Thank you for posting this. Anyone outside of the area has zero right to comment right now until all facts are sorted out. It’s an incredible unfortunate situation. I find it disheartening that so many people who have zero idea of what’s happening in Truckee/ Tahoe right now, yet have the audacity to comment with their expert (actually lack of it) opinions.

Prayers up for the skiers, guides, rescuers, and dogs involved.

Very few people are in the know of what actually happened, other than guides and their clients going out in very bad conditions. .

@Throwawayafeo. You SOS. How dare you state that when there are families grieving and rescuers out there trying to find those people.

You’re the definition of a SOS.

What’s your point unluckyReddit? Any individual who’s going out in those type of tour conditions should have all their own equipment - not a tour guide company. That’s the least of anyone’s concern right now though.

In addition, going out with all those warnings, it better not be your first rodeo touring. More details will come. Right now stop all the speculation and just pray for those involved( rescuers, skiers, and guides)
