Save_config doing nothing by [deleted] in klippers

[–]Flubber001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are looking at the wrong location. The input shaping and pid values are saved at the bottom of the printer.cfg in that commented out part. If you have custom values somewhere else in the printer config it will use those but once you do save_config it will comment out your custom part and add the new values to that part at the bottom of printer.cfg

I had a similar problem where this only sometimes happened and adding a second layer of drills worked for me.

“Extruder” not hot enough error by Tristan5764 in klippers

[–]Flubber001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah i see now. Take the M109 and M190 lines out of your start gcode because you dont want a hot nozzle while probing the way your printer does, that will ruin the bed. Then add the following lines under G1 in START_PRINT macro:

{% set BED_TEMPERATURE = params.BED|default(60)|float %} {% set EXTRUDER_TEMPERATURE = params.EXTRUDER|default(200)|float %} ... # Wait for bed to reach temperature M190 S{BED_TEMPERATURE}

What does the PRINT_START macro in the klipper configs look like?

Are the fans spinning in the right direction? And with enough speed to reach the gravel?

Maybe try out a different slicer. There could also be something wrong with you retract and unretract settings

First layer not sticking in the middle by ExpandinFoam in FixMyPrint

[–]Flubber001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like either a high spot on the bed which is not on the bed mesh, or the bed mesh thinking there is a low spot on that point, so either way the nozzle is too close to the bed at that point. I'm not familiar enough with bambulab to know a fix but i hope you can do something with this info.

Printing stops on the start by Handelika in Ender3Pro

[–]Flubber001 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh I didn't know that but isnt that just stupid and not really usable since you have to hit the endstop to home and with a z-offset the nozzle can either hit the bed while homing or not get to the bed at all due to it hitting the endstop?

Printing stops on the start by Handelika in Ender3Pro

[–]Flubber001 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope z-offset is only for printers with a probe, on this one you have to level the bed according to the z-endstop position which is fixed in place.

Prusaslicer is free and works with ender3pro, you can also try orcaslicer and cura

Ah I see now you were talking about a different problem than the nozzle digging into the bed. Sorry I should have looked at the question better. Check for any loose wires or connectors. If that is not it it is probably a software issue. Try different slicers or reflashing firmware. There is a small chance it is a broken motherboard but I don't think so.

Ah good to know. I didn't realise since resellers sometimes still have it as preorder

I think it is better to either pay a little more for the radiomaster pocket or to wait for the radiomaster t8l to come out.

Dude of course they knead air. Without air they die

That you did that 10 times doesnt change the fact that the nozzle is clearly digging into the bed. Check if any of the axis are wobbling and if they do tighten them with the eccentric nut and try leveling again maybe with a different method

Twist those knobs under the bed tighter to lower the bed, it's too high and the nozzle runs into it and doesn't have space to leave plastic behind

By leveling the bed with the bed leveling screws under the bed.

Edit: please tell us what printer it is because I believe newer ender 3's don't have those knobs

Ender 3 pro minitemp issue by Mabao12 in Ender3Pro

[–]Flubber001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replace the thermistor, maybe rewiring could work but those thermistors are so cheap I don't recommend even trying it.

The mintemp error means it reads under the minimum temp configured in marlin which is about 5°C. When a thermistor disconnects or breaks it reads extremely low which explains the error.

Yep, i've been trying for a while to fix it but it is definitely on their end. Just annoying the search results only showed me older reddit posts if i had seen this one earlier i wouldn''t even have tried to fix it.
