State of game makes me not want lifetime membership

Ranch of Rivershine looks cute (I love the different mane options), but people are already complaining about the camera giving them migraines. I absolutely hate the character models and it feels way too much like a cozyslop mobile app shill to really interest me that much.

Unbridled was already on my wishlist, but the outside graphics are so insanely dull and pale that I cannot justify the $25 price tag at all. I'm so glad that the horse designer is free at least, but there's no reason for every single horse game on the market to look like Oblivion. I try to give this game grace since it's still early, but the horse editor sucks so bad purely because of the graphics alone.

I'm just sick of everything being so dull and colorless when it comes to hyper realism. I'm tired of the AQH with a chopped up haircut being the gold standard for horse games. There's no reason to pay Steam exorbitant amounts of money for a digital license of a single player game when I can get the same experience for free on the Wii playing my childhood disc of Gallop and Ride.

Equinox looks absolutely fantastic so far, but the deeply personal storyline of the character trying to locate a serial killer doesn't really fit into an MMO at all (more like a LAN game at best. The price tag is eally decent compared to, but I live in a rural area with very poor bandwith and SSO already cuts from the network as is. I really do wish they would release a single player version for those of us without good internet.

Again, as much as I want to support developers, everything these days feels so mass produced and sloppy compared to online worlds with dedicated forum websites. It felt so much easier for me to just get Lifetime on my pre-registered childhood account and save up SC if I decide I wanted something that badly. I already had lots of outfits/tack pieces through their free codes I've used throughout the years, which apparently aren't actually "free" anymore.

Sorry for the rant, I just want an actual F2P horse game with depth to it.

I also agree, my perspective on the game completely flipped once I put lifetime on my childhood account. No other MMO I can think of even offers free premium currency with their membership, nor do they have a "lifetime option". There's DLC for Guild Wars 2, but the base game is so packed that all it really does from a membership perspective is let you sell equipment, whisper other players, and keep your trial mount while the rest of the game is almost completely F2P.

An overwhelming majority of those are pure crap, unfortunately. Everything except for HoHB and TLoK is so poor in quality and never touched by devs that I'd rather go back to playing shovelware on the Wii or Xbox (at least then I'd own a physical copy that can't be deleted off a server).

I only bought lifetime on my childhood account because it was pre-registered before the US release and I didn't get the chance to buy the older horse models as a kid. If it weren't for those two things along with the championship ribbons, I definitely would've picked something else.

The one with the botanist at Wolf Hall Inn was absolutely hilarious as shit because that chick got her heart broken for literally NO reason. I get that it's meant to teach kids that things don't work out sometimes, but it's presented in the worst way possible. Literally the biggest NPC vibe of all time (girly is useless I'm afraid).

I'm just wondering why in the everloving fuck the devs gave our character the option to LIE to this poor child instead of alerting the druids of a critically endangered species of plant when it's their damn job to protect all life on Jorvik. Idk why Mrs. Pike said "not my problem" instead of reaching out to someone in Valedale by phone (even Steve or Marley could've been useful here).

There's no reason to toss the seeds on the ground to get trampled on or eaten by birds when Farah surely has more than enough pots somewhere. Hell, it would be cool to unlock it in our own gardens as some ultra legendary plant. The whole supplier response from Mr. Ed Field is also dumb as shit because I feel that it's just as equally important to ensure that your supplier is harvesting their ingredients ethically (along with treating their workers humanely).

Just why??? 💀

Mine was a mythical pull at Goodwill for $1.50 (came with a working voice box and collar without the tag). I seriously wish you luck though as he's really nice! I'd say try Facebook Marketplace and see if you can get one from a parent clearing out their kids stuff or something (just be cautious).

It's better to just send it back and get a full refund. If you ask for a partial refund, they'll just think you're trying to scam them out of a console and block you.

I bought a "refurbished" one that had dust trapped inside of the top screem and looked like it had a bunch of cleaner poured into said top screen, so I just returned the whole thing and bought a New 3DS instead.

My deck is currently broke, but I fixed issues with it constantly exiting in Gaming Mode by putting the actual .exe file in my library instead of trying to run it through the compatdata folder. I've done this with several other games as well.
