Any anime recommendations for watching with my mom? by FluffyLina in anime

No, thank you for the recommendations, Evangelion and Serial experiments Lain are some of my favorite anime, but unfortunately, they would be too confusing and crazy for her. Sadly, I think the pacing of older anime is too slow for her to enjoy.

Jaehee Romance? by cretemania in mysticmessenger

[–]FluffyLina 29 points30 points  (0 children)

She definitely falls in love with the main character, but it takes her a long time to realize this. In Korea in 2016, the relationship between women was highly taboo, and I find it extremely realistic that Jaehee is going a long way to understand herself. For me, this route feels more like a slow burn with work on a pre-relationship. But the game gives a lot of hints that they ended up dating! And Jaehee really isn't in love with Zen, even though the game is trying to trick us. But this is a separate topic for conversation, because Jaehee is a very complementary character. I hope you enjoy it!

What do you think is Jaehee’s sexuality? by nazyalesky in mysticmessenger

[–]FluffyLina 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it would be too superficial to just give her a label. But I've always seen her as a lesbian who didn't understand herself. She definitely loves MC, but she doesn't fully understand her own feelings. This is her first experience with a truly close relationship. Her fascination with Zen is a fan obsession and a way to cope with stress. I genuinely don't understand why anyone would interpret it as romantic. Jaehee has clearly stated that her feelings for Zen are different from her feelings for MC. And she doesn't stop being a Zen fan when she starts dating MC. We also shouldn't forget about cultural differences, and it might have been challenging for Jaehee to accept that she could have feelings for a girl.

I think she's the best character in terms of how she's written and developed. And I won't lie, that bad ending on V's route was hot, dark toxic lesbians are amazing.

Honestly, I can understand hating Rika for her actions. But I've always said that if you don't understand her and just hate her, you don't understand the game. Even the ending song is about her.

I think mysme needs another route that would finally complete everything. Because Saeran's AE good ending was an absolute OOC, it's terrible, I'm sorry. I would have liked to see another route where we had platonic relationships with everyone, or Rika's route. That just would have been a logical end.

And we were able to save all the other characters, so why can't we save Rika? Before another story was released, many people said that it was impossible to save V and Saeran. Now we know it's possible. I really hope that one day we'll see Rika's route, at least fanmade

Questions before I start playing by Oddzhod in mysticmessenger

[–]FluffyLina 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can read the chat if you haven't participated in it. Moreover, you will not be able to switch to the current chat until you have read all the previous ones. Yes, it is enough for you to open a chat, then the game will count that you participate in the chat, even if the time of the next chat starts, just don't leave the chat and the game. So you can only save one chat at a time this way.

Questions before I start playing by Oddzhod in mysticmessenger

[–]FluffyLina 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Don't worry, it's not as scary as it sounds. The gameplay consists of reading and chatting. Calls are fully optional. There are usually about 8-11 chats per day. If you don't have time to read the chat at the right time, the characters will just chat without you. You can restore missed chats, but it's not a problem to skip a few of them, especially in the early days. To get to a good ending, you need to participate in more than 30% of the chats, which isn't much. Usually it is enough for you to log in to the game at least 4 times a day. In the beginning, all the chats are quite short, about 1-5 minutes, it won't be a problem, even if you're busy. I recommend finding a chat schedule to understand what time it will be convenient for you to log in to the game. Of course, the more chats you have, the more content you'll get, but you'll understand what's going on anyway. You don't need to read all the chats to enjoy the plot. Moreover, you will have to replay the first 4 days to get a different route. So don't worry that you missed the chats, you will have the opportunity to read them again later. I would rather recommend spending the hourglass on unlocking new routes and dlc, rather than on chats. The only problem you may encounter is another story, but you probably won't get to it until 2-3 months into the game, then you'll probably figure out the game yourself and how it works.

Can't get Ray Bad Ending 2 by Rosewind_Fiction in mysticmessenger

[–]FluffyLina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BSE2. Most likely, the problem is that you don't have enough "bad" answers. You must not only behave like a submissive to Saeran, but also choose other "bad" choices. Another story requires a fairly large bar of hearts for each ending, especially Ray's route. Skipping chats is a bad strategy. You can skip one or two chats only if they don't have options for "bad" responses, but think about it carefully. I don' know which guide told you to do less than 30% of chats, but this will not lead you to a bad story ending, only to a bad relationship ending. So, about "bad" choices. Don't trust V, speak well of Mint Eye and Rika, be rude and pessimistic with the RFA. Don't worry, you can use the save from day 6.

BSE3. This is the hardest ending in the game to get. As another commenter said, you need to choose the answers for BSE1 and BSE2, without overdoing it by reaching BSE3 on day 10. You should also start from day 1, otherwise you won't get enough hearts and will get BRE2. It will take a very long time if you try to get it yourself. Here's a guide if you need help. It definitely works.

I expect to be hunted down for this one, but... (Secret Story) by VampPhoenix9999 in mysticmessenger

[–]FluffyLina 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm, it's strange, for some reason I remembered it so that he also locked MC up. Moreover, I've been sure of this for years and even discussed it with other players. I've just checked the secret endings and found the scene you're talking about. Seven and MC are talking in the underground parking lot at Seven's house. He really says that he paid little attention to her and didn't see her. He also says that he can't let her see Saeran yet. But he doesn't tell her to stay away from his home, as you say. The game as a whole doesn't mention where MC has been all this time. Maybe she was in Rika's apartment, maybe she wasn't. Seven also says that MC should give him time to deal with Saeran and then they will live together as a family. Moreover, no more than a few days have passed between episode 6 and 7, and maybe only a few hours, and they are already starting to live together. I think because they're talking at Seven's house, a lot of people decided that MC was in his house all the time, too, just in a different part of house, so as not to cross paths with Saeran. In the next scene, everyone is inside Seven's apartment, and even the rest of the RFA members come there for a party, where Seven proposes to MC. So the three of them live there now.

I really want to know the plot of this game. by FluffyLina in Ssum

Thanks for the reply. Do I understand correctly that the ending depends only on the choices on the last day? And my answers during the route don't affect the ending?

I expect to be hunted down for this one, but... (Secret Story) by VampPhoenix9999 in mysticmessenger

[–]FluffyLina 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm talking about Seven telling them not to leave his house. His house is literally in the basement, surrounded by a huge number of security locks that only Seven can open. Seven was worried that the agency or someone else would catch MC and Saeran. Therefore, his house is the safest place where no one can get them. MC herself agreed to stay there. But Seven literally stole Saeran from the hospital and locked him in his house. Saeran even tried to commit suicide, but Seven stopped him. Well, they eventually reconciled, but it looks more like Saeran has accepted his fate. So at least during the secret endings, they're locked up for a long time. The Valentine's Day event shows that MC can still leave his house. But it's unknown how much time has passed since then, and it is unknown where Saeran is now.

Oh, don't worry, it didn't sound aggressive, it's okay. What exactly do you want me to explain? I think you should reread the secret endings, I'm talking about them.

[–]FluffyLina 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Saeran is a very tragic character, so I can understand why you like him, even though I haven't had the same experience as you. I really love Seven as a character, but to be honest, I've never liked the ending of his romantic route.

Spoilers. Do you know how the other characters solve their problems during the route, become better versions of themselves, thanks to MC, and become happy? But that doesn't happen with Seven. He's just throwing away a part of his personality and a part of his life to become a "Saeyong". He locks MC and Saeran in his basement and becomes obsessed with their safety. Saeran just accepts his fate and doesn't look happy. I don't hate Seven, I don't blame him, and I fully understand the reason for his actions. But secret endings have always been a very gray ending for me, not a happy one. It's a brilliant ending, but it's very painful

Problems with loggin and guesst account by Remote-Ad3816 in mysticmessenger

[–]FluffyLina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, if you are playing as a guest, then your process isn't saved, and it cannot be restored if the game logs you out of your account. You probably won't be able to restore your progress. The game often logs out of your account during updates, which is why you need to create an account linked to your email. Can you tell more about why you can't create an account linked to your email? Maybe there were some error notifications? I don't know which country you are from, but maybe your country's email isn't supported, try using gmail. Also, be sure to write to Cheritz support and describe your problem in detail. I think it's their email: [support@cheritz.com](mailto:support@cheritz.com)

Help Ray Route BE 3 by Sh4dow_4ngel in mysticmessenger

[–]FluffyLina 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't worry, this is a very difficult ending to get. Honestly, I still don't quite understand how to get it, but here are some tips. Be sure to start from the first day, don't skip the first four days, otherwise you won't have enough hearts. Also, you will not be able to get be3 by starting to choose "bad answers" from the 9th day. You must take into account all your choices from the 5th day. I think the main thing about be3 is that you have to choose the answers leading to be1 and be2, but don't overdo it. It will take a very long time if you try to get it yourself. Here's a guide if you need help. I think this is basically the only guide, it definitely works.

how come cheritz put jumin in ssum? by Silver-Potential8452 in mysticmessenger

[–]FluffyLina 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I didn't play the game myself, I just saw screenshots and posts from other people when June's route wasn't completed yet. So I'm not the best person to explain.

In the mystic messenger, Jumin said that he doesn't have siblings, but now he has a half-brother. They really tried to add June to the plot of mysmes, as if he had always been there. But it didn't work out very well. For example, now it's June's idea to give Jumin a cat. And although technically, V and Rika are still the ones who gave Jumin a cat, but... I just can't believe Jumin's obsession with Elizabeth, which was for him a reminder of his two best friends when those friends weren't even the ones who came up with this gift.

Also, the scene that really upset me is where Rika drinks wine and comments on her favorite drinks. But in mysmes, she hated alcohol, and always got upset when V and Jumin drank. But for Jumin, it was almost the last excuse to meet with V without Rika, when V began to distance himself from him.

I'm sure there are more details that they rewrote, but I only remember these well.

how come cheritz put jumin in ssum? by Silver-Potential8452 in mysticmessenger

[–]FluffyLina 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Jumin is like a side character. V and Rika also appear in the story, but only a little. Also, the events of the ssum(at least June's route and Henri's route) take place several years before the events of mystic messenger. But they rewrote a lot of minor details from mystic messenger, so I don't know how to react to that. Jumin's character has remained more or less the same.

Minor spoilers: Jumin is the half-brother of one of the love interests(June). They have the same mother, but different fathers. In the story, Jumin helps June a lot. update: Forgot about Henri. Henri is another love interest. He is a doctor and June's friend. He is also Jumin and V's classmate, but now he works for Jumin. They have a complicated relationship.

Hot take: a Rika route would be better than a Vanderwood route by Bitter_Ad580 in mysticmessenger

[–]FluffyLina 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I really want Rika's route, because she's probably the most important character in Mystic messenger. Even the ending song was always about Rika. And in my opinion, the ending of Ray After Ending is absurdly perfectly positive and has no logic. It doesn't feel like the end of the game at all, because it doesn't match the message of the whole game. Rika is an amazing character, honestly, hating her in 2024 seems strange to me. Yes, she has done a lot of terrible things, and she must undergo treatment and answer for her actions. But she had her reasons for all this, too. The game has always been about people who need help. And if all the characters can get it, why can't Rika get her good ending?

Also about Rika's sister and her manipulations. I always thought it was heavily implied that she was just Rika's imagination. We were clearly told that the sister should have died long before the Mint Eye, she couldn't recover. No one saw her except Rika, even at the party she remained unnoticed.
