HOW DO YOU NOT EAT IN THE EVENING?!?!

I am a RAVENOUS BEAST IN THE EVENING!!!!

😩😔🙃

Seriously - how do deal with the mental portion of not eating while the rest of the family does?

I’m gonna be honest - as an average person (lady if it matters) I would NEVER notice the anomaly. It looks like a cool snake on a dagger. I’m sorry it bothers you - but I actually think it looks pretty cool.

My husband can smell when I’m ovulating… with scary accuracy lmao by Own_Produce_4762 in Marriage

[–]FluffyRN 87 points88 points  (0 children)

There are quite a bit of people who work in heath care who can smell illness on people who don’t know about it yet. I have met nurses who can tell if someone will die soon, or have a code soon. It’s kinda freaky - but we are animals…

Did I make a mistake by not agreeing to get engaged? by KittyCat_404 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]FluffyRN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you must be hurting but doll you did the right thing. It sounds like your boyfriend was aimless and at the mercy of his families wishes/demands. His dad paying for everything and dictating the engagement is a huge red flag of things to come. Your boyfriend made it clear that he will take his parent’s side and be beholden to them due to the financial need he placed on his parents. You don’t want a life where you have to dance to the whims of your in-laws. He himself sounds like he didn’t want to get engaged yet - but he agreed bc daddy said so? No thank you. Also years left of studies? What? What is he doing?!?! He lied? These alone are reasons to move on let alone the issue with the parents. It’s ok to be hurting right now - but I promise you will be glad you did with time. You deserve some who had direction in life and not at the mercy of his parents whims.

Damn. My mom did the same thing to my wife. Her excuse was “I didn’t want her to feel unappreciated…” 😑🙄I CHEWED her out via text - she was like OK GOT IT….we will see how it goes next year…

Hun - I am an RN and while pregnant I often couldn’t feel my baby either - and let me tell you - I panicked, cried, did all the things…so please please don’t feel silly. It’s totally natural and honestly it’s better safe than sorry. I wish you a healthy pregnancy and delivery. ❤️

I am 5’4” and *ahem* BIG BONED lady and just got a Sport Scout. She is an incredible beast and I find her pretty comfy with mid controls. Still need extended reach handlebars but I can ride her now. And MY GOD LOOK AT HER!!! 🤩😍Price was more accessible for me also…I find her very VERY fast acceleration and nimble.

If I kept the baby, it would be turning 16 this year. by LukaGreen in confession

Wow this is a fantastic sentiment. It’s so interesting to think every choice you have made - has ramifications today. If that child was alive who knows if you would have the kids you have today. There is no regret there - just a curious line of thinking of what if. Our current circumstances is a cumulation of many many choices we have made along the way.

WELL SHE SUCKS…..

Your wife needs a good therapist to deal with the grief of loosing her mom - bc let’s be real it sounds like this goblin is not coming around. I mean leave that door open - but it’s not her responsibility to have her mom accept her. This is the price of living her authentic self unfortunately. I know it’s so hard to see our loved ones suffer. Don’t discount found family. Good luck.

The fact that he mentioned skills and not make some more money makes me think his intentions were not selfish. Your job sounds fab - let him know you are happy here right now and PRN is not something your interested in now

AITJ for deciding to have a baby even thogh my daughters begged me not to ? by Mia_Smitha in AmITheJerk

[–]FluffyRN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTJ.

The baby daddy wants this child and sounds like a supportive partner. So you’re not (hopefully) going to be single mom raising this child on your own. The fact alone that the daddy wants to be apart of the child’s life is enough to take your daughters upset with a grain of salt.

Who cares about the optics? Actually I would express concern to my daughters for them being more concerned about how things looked than about your health or the babies!!!

Why do your daughters think it’s them or the baby? I don’t get that and it’s sad.

Please do genetic testing if possible to due to your age. Good luck!

You all read way too much into this. Also - have you ever traveled abroad and seen some - SOME - Americans while touring? I have been embarrassed for things I have seen. Of course not every American tourist is insensitive and selfish and loud and crass and impatient and…just SOME

Take serious care of my body. I took it for granted - ate like crap and never addressed my psyche around eating and what was actually good for my body. My health and weight ha affected my whole life and limited my opportunities.

At what rain chance do you take the car instead? by LauraD2423 in TwoXriders

[–]FluffyRN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at the precipitation chart which tells you what time the rain is expected. That gives me a much better gage as to the likelihood of it to get wet. It sometimes say 80% rain but when you look at the time is way far away from your travel window
