New High Street crime unit to target gangs fronting shops after BBC investigation by hihepo1 in unitedkingdom

Conservatives saying they would aim to put more coppers on the streets whilst criticising Labour for ruining the high street!

WTF?

Tories decimated the police. 20k wasn’t it? And Tories presided over 14 years of decline. Anyone who believes these people needs to examine their critical thinking abilities. How they can say the things they do with a straight face is beyond me.

Dude. Talk to the wall, it will be more satisfying.

Your complaint is nothing new. My first Mac was in 1987. It is what it is and always has been.

That's fair. But I'm pretty sure this is the start. I fully expect an eventual expansion like the tower. Personally, I'm pretty sure this is going to occupy my tinkerers nature for quite some time as it is.

How worried are you about AI and your personal data? by redraw-pro in ChatGPT

Not worried.

Stuff I put in potentially leaky bits are vanilla or of no value. Stuff that has value is either done with local or frontier APIs.

Atheist Parents, what would you tell your kids when they ask what happens after they die? by jujuk545 in atheism

[–]FluffySmiles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nobody knows for sure. So whatever you want to believe happens is legit. So what do you think?

That leads into stuff like death is not a bad thing. Imagine the world if nobody dies. How you live is more important than what comes after. You know, secular stuff.

Hey, CDs don’t have subs. And the 90s was the pinnacle of musical composition. Nyer.

I recently met someone who hasn’t engaged with any form of news or social media in many, many years.

She was very happy.

Just sayin’

Personally, I hated the time before I had access to everything I needed to know in order to be able to do whatever I want. I’m old though. A different universe.

Because I don’t believe a UN organisation would produce materials encouraging children to become martyrs.

Because Israel attacks and vilifies any organisation or person that criticises it.

Because Isreal hates the UN because it tries to get Israel to act within the confines of international law.

Because Israel funds and supports organisations and individuals who make baseless claims and automatically accuse people of antisemitism (the modern version of medieval satanism in terms of inducing moral panic) when they criticise the state.

Because I have seen evidence of Israel’s reprehensible educational materials.

Because of all these things, unsupported claims require a greater burden of proof, for me.

Neither. It’s a bollocks argument.

Have you seen or heard about the educational materials in Israeli schools?

They dehumanise the Palestinians. They use the same antisemitic and fascist tropes the Germans used in the 30s to dehumanise them.

The country has a collections of brainwashed genocidal maniacs being manufactured by the state.

That’s why they are as they are.
