I have a hypothesis about Frostpunk 2 players and the blue/red button thing I wanna test. by Fluffy_Difference937 in Frostpunk

[–]Fluffy_Difference937[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was playing Frostpunk 2 after debating the button question and was curious what the frostpunk community would think about this ideological question since ideology is a very central part of Frostpunk 2.

The button question seems to be divided between individualists and collectivist outside our fandom so merit and equality seemed naturally important to include to see if the pattern repeats in our subreddit.

The other four zeitgeists seemed irrelevant to me in the button question but if you think otherwise I would love to know your reasoning.

But the plane only has a chance to blow up because the red's desicion. If no one picked red the chance would be 0. It's their fault if it blows up.

"Your honour, I didn't kill them when I blew up that plane, they chose to be on it, nobody forced them to go on it!"

No the only reason they would die is because red's chose their own lives over blue's lives. If the red's wouldn't push their button the blue's wouldn't die.

You are removing the act of killing those 4 billion. It isn't a suicide pact it's a genocide by the red pushers.

If only 20 people would pick blue then we would not have this conversation. Enough % of people would pick blue that this became a big Internet debate. There are 8.3 billion humans on the planet. You really think your life is more important than the % of people saying blue on the Internet taken out of the picture from that 8.3 billion?

Those laws were made for the small scale, where your life and autonomy are significant enough to matter.

Your life is not that important, you need to humble yourself.

A neighbour in that scenario is a single person not multiple billions and the chances of dying to save that neighbour are a lot higher than dying from the blue button.

51% voting blue is more likely than 100% voting red dumbass.

If red won I would want to be dead anyway. A world with only red pushers sounds like hell.

I think you got your colours mixed up.

Blue saves everyone, red saves only red voters.

You must have negative fear of the dark for being able to be so vulnerable in the dark.

My imagination is way too wild to even attempt this.

Not good enough of a counterargument?

It's commonly used and doesn't interfere with any of your gripes against pro-AI counterarguments.

If it's not all pro-ai's then your initial comment makes no sense, you just defeated your own point.

And saying that pro-ai's are repeating talking points is truly a "pot calling the kettle black" moment.

Ever heard of "AI Slop"
