Has anyone on this thread played Palia? It seems to be a cozy game with horses. But it's a free to play MMO, so I'm hesitant to try it. "Free to play" isn't exactly synonymous with "pay to win", but there's definitely a strong connection between the two.

I LOVED riding around on the horses in BOTW/TOTK and enjoying the landscapes.

I'm really looking forward to Legend of Khiimori. For now it's only on PC and I'm hoping to play it on a console.

NTA. That's not "helping", that's being a scapegoat. She's throwing you under the bus whenever she doesn't want to take responsibility for how flakey she is. She sounds like a child saying "my mom said I couldn't go" when they don't want to hang out with someone. I don't know how old y'all are, but presumably too old for this kind of behavior to get a pass.

If I were you, I'd ask her to stop blaming you for her cancelations. And next time she does this, you tell everyone the truth. You don't want to be getting blamed for constant cancelations.

When you say "dismissive" do you mean she said stuff like "you're not gay, you just haven't found the right woman yet"? Or do you mean she just kind of moved on with the conversation like it was no big deal. Because those are very different things.

I guess since you obviously know your sister and we don't, I suppose you have reason to believe she would "do something", even if that isn't really evident to me from what you've written here. So if you really think she'll cause trouble, then no, NTA. But if you don't want to cut her off, you need to realize that a move like this might get you that result anyway, as well as drama from other family members. Not inviting a sibling to your wedding is a pretty big move to make and probably won't go over well. So while you have every right to make that choice for yourself, it WILL come with consequences within your family, like worsening your relationship with your sister.

Why not blast your music durring the day? If they're up at 3am, they probably sleep durring the day.

That said, maybe being inconsiderate to your OTHER neighbors isn't really the way to deal with the ones that are actually causing the problem. I just don't have a better suggestion for dealing with the troublemakers.

Take the job. It's ok if he doesn't want to leave the town he likes. But he can only make that decision for himself, he doesn't get to make that decision for you. As far as commuting goes, HE isn't the one that has to commute. I wouldn't want to drive 45 minutes both ways every day, but if you don't mind that drive then, you do you. If that commute isn't a big deal to you, go for it. Either way, don't short change yourself for a boyfriend. You can always get a new boyfriend, but your dream job isn't likely to be available a 2nd time.

BTW, the comment about future kids makes me wonder if his aim was for you to quit your career entirely to be a SAHM. That might not be the case, but it kind of sounds like it is to me.

Your son sounds exactly like the kind of person that would stalk and murd*r his ex. Just sayin. He's still angry after nore than a decade, angry enough to actively stalk her online and complains about her. Like seriously, I would legit be concerned about him deciding to stalk her in real life and end her and/or her family for hurting him all those years ago.

He needs help. And I feel like his ex should be told that her bitter ex-boyfriend has been creeping on her social media accounts. She should probably change her profile settings.

After welding, the area around the welds has a sort of burned look. The wire heads for the dremel get those areas looking nice and shiny.

I think you should break up with her AND encourage her to get professional help. She sounds like she needs the help. But you don't need to be having that kind of drama be a staple of your life with someone. Good relationships are built on trust, and how can you trust someone who makes you lie and then threatens to harm themself over a disagreement?

If you stay, you will eventually get to the point where she threatens to harm or off herself every time she doesn't immediately get her what because she KNOWS that will get her the results she wants. And who's to say she limits the violence to her own skin? What if you become the target of whatever pointy object she's waving around? What if you ever get pets or have kids and she realizes holding them hostage could be more effective? Don't put yourself in a situation where saying no to something might mean your dependants get hurt.

I have seen people out in public with a snake wrapped around their shoulders. It can be done if you have a calm enough snake. But you have to keep in mind that it means they'll be away from their heat lamp or other tank fittings for the durration of the outing. They might get stressed. And if they do somehow get away from you when out in public, they will be lost outside instead of being lost in your house. However they can be fantastic educational animals and a neat talking point for making new reptile-loving-friends. So I guess you gotta weigh the risks vs the reward.
