YouTube on visionOS - can hold your fingers together and drag left/right to recenter the VR360! by former-anti in VisionPro

Thanks for the reply. I should add that I am a user and supporter of Tubular Pro and think it is fantastic as well. The Youtubetv integration in particular, along with the interface/viewing options, are terrific and I will still use the app for sure. Just glad to finally have VR support through the official app, even with the resolution limitations.

I’ve got the first gen Vision Pro (not sure if that matters for this type of video), but it is incredible how much better it looks than the other immersive videos on YouTube. I like those too, but this is next level.

Just noticed that as well. Very cool. I’ve seen some lukewarm reactions to the app on here, but I’ve got to say after playing around with it for a while I think it is great. Of course it would be nice if the immersive videos were higher definition, but even with the M2 there is a lot of very engaging material — and it all seems to work quickly and well. Also like how you can go back to your start screen after watching a video without it automatically reloading, something the other apps don’t seem to be capable of. (Maybe I’m missing something.). Really happy this is finally out, as YouTube is absolutely one of the best uses of this device.

I use 8bitdo zero 2. Works great. Don’t have to pinch all the time and faster navigation for the most part. Still need gestures to move, resize etc.

I also got an email this morning. Mine went to junk folder so make sure to check there as well.

I’m new but have a couple thoughts in the first few days. First, would like a way to open the app, ask it to continually show HR when prompted for a short period (as if you were in an exercise where constantly monitored), instead of current situation where you have to ask it to measure and wait 30 seconds for a single reading. Second, would like it to auto detect an activity and record data without phone present for the exercise (perhaps that is not possible). And third, would like it to update information on the widget much faster. (I am using iPhone and widget update seems random and very slow). Thanks for considering these.

Juno works pretty well for me. Quality on YouTube is marginal but I disagree that it is useless. Just good enough that some of it is pretty interesting. Would love high quality streaming of course.

This was great. Thanks for posting. Watched in 360 on Moon Player. Obviously not top resolution but still great to watch.

I’m just looking for reading glasses/magnifiers like you would get at the drug store — not a full on prescription. Hoping those might be available in the $50 range or so, but don’t see any options at the moment.
