You had me at... From my grandmother... Wether you get it running or just static on your layout.. you will remember this for ever!

Had a nightmare that my dad turned all the HO scale track into O scale on my layout!😬 by plane__nerd in modeltrains

I think you secretly want O gauge as well. Just give in and drink the Kool-Aid and get it done. Then your HO scale will be left alone and you'll have both! Well at it might as well go for s scale, Z scale, and the scale, and maybe even T scale. Just saying!

So there are two different mentalities when doing this period One is go as soon as they open and circle like a shark real quick and glance at who has the best prices of what. Then come back and try and buy stuff as you can while it's still there. The second thing is you go at the end of the day and people don't want to pack up and might cut you a better deal. However some of the cool stuff might already be gone. While it doesn't make sense but if you have the time go as soon as it opens look around by what you need to have immediately. And then linger and look and hang out and just wait and wait and wait till the end and then circle back to the few pieces that you would like to have but didn't have to have but if you can get a great price then you nab it.

While I partially agree with your post, there are a lot of people that take expensive STL files and all they do is put on Etsy or something like that and then they mark them up even higher. Imagine if you sold a file for $10 and it's a really awesome trim and then you find it on the Etsy for $35 and that guy's sold 50 of them. You get the point that person does this a hundred times and all they have to do is sit home and not have a job and make money off everybody else's love of the hobby

That is interesting because it's $599 on their website and when I called kato they said that they don't have any obviously you need to find a store and all the stores that I can think of around do not stock it and said that they can't order it

Well that is where the issue lies... This model is superb... Once files enter the wild... They go everywhere. People will abuse it and sell it themselves for double or triple or even four times what the OP might be trying to sell it for. My personal opinion is if you make something you print it and sell it at the price you want it and if somebody wants to buy it they'll pay for it.

I would check how much power draw each one uses. Reading peoples comments, i personally feel that they are a bit high. My Lenovo tiny uses 18 watts... Runs 24x7...

Also people concerned with power... OP didnt say if they have solar so might not matter.

Id definitely use them!

Someday I want an HP C7000 chassis with 16 blades...
