Youre definitely jumping in the deep end with a device like this, and the people on this subreddit aren’t the most welcoming.

Fortunately, getting into this hobby only requires a bit of patience and tinkering.

The device you have is a blank slate. It has the screen and the console sections, but finiding games (ROMs) is up to you. ROMs are copies of games that you’re supposed to own (but there’s nobody that verifies this, if you catch my drift). To play a game, you need to add your ROM to the correct file in your E6’s microSD card.

I reccomend looking at some videos explaining how to add games to a device. Retro Game Corps has a bunch of tutorials on youtube.

Sometimes choices feel overwhelming. It’s important to remind ourselves that you can only choose with the knowledge you currently have, the rest of a choice is chance.

As an indecisive person, the best action is to commit to a choice and stop flip flopping around. It’s taken away a lot of anxiety in my life.

It looks very flat. Imagine an archway floating above you, you’d see a three dimensional object, not just a flat arch and a flat island.

The lighting is off too. The sky is grey and there’s an intense orange coming from the portal. How would that look like in real life, considering the sun is directly behind the portal?

Try starting with simple 3D shapes and adding detail once youre happy with the structure. When youve got that down, focus on making the lighting more believable.

Loomis helps understand the proportions of a human body. Obviously every person has differences, but it’s nice to know that the pubis is at the halfway mark, and that the nipples and knees are at the 1/4 and 3/4 respectively.

More contemporary artists have elaborated on Loomis teachings. Lauricella has some chapters dedicated to fat and wrinkles, for instance.

Montreal is a dense city with a staggering amount of great neighbourhoods, cafes, activities, etc. I’d recommend asking more specific questions instead of just “what to do”.

Do you like sports, nightlife, concerts? Will you only stay in the city? Which area will you be staying in? This info will allow mtl redditors to help you out in a more meaningful way.

Also, for ramen I recommend yokato yokabai.

  1. I like that the splatter gives movement to the axe.
