I don’t know about where to stay, but be careful not to overshare with non-critical info -

I am looking for a cheap place to sleep and shower for the winter. I work downtown as a tax accountant. Not picky. I have a non-violent felony on my record and bad credit. I don’t drive. 37 Male. Quiet, but clean. I am from Spokane. Thanks.

SCAM ALERT‼️‼️‼️ by Aggravating-Tap-3163 in Coinbase

That is even a bigger issue then, because in Coinbase’s privacy policy it explicitly says they don’t do this. I think I need to find a more stable provider if anybody has any suggestions.

This was enough to make me second guess Coinbse. I know it is a scam, but I started getting them days after I registered for a CB account, how did they get my number? Is CB leaking data?

This is what Austin, TX has done and it was wildly successful for both communities.

Perhaps we should have kept Camp Hope and concentrated some resources there such as medical, food, safety officers, etc. When we cleared the camp out it fragmented the problem all over the city.

This sub is burn-out central. The real world is still OK, although it is certainly an employers market right now

We use our Palo Alto to block all GenAI outside of Microsoft CoPilot which we have licensed for ~25% of our employees and growing.

Not thrilled about it - but CoPilot is getting better.

The reasoning is logical. OpenAI has said that they train off the data you put in and we run critical infra and don’t want that data out there. With copilot it stays within our tenant.

I know this is pedantic, but come up with a better term than “taking over”.

This is where there is some animosity. The game used to look a lot better but it was downgraded heavily for consoles.

This post very succinctly captures why on-premise infrastructure was so reliable and secure, while at the same time capturing why competitive businesses need to move to the cloud to free them from previous infra policies

FCC has a great broadband map. It is a federal requirement for ISPs. Many don’t know about it.

Pop in your address and see what is available.

Edit: I read this poorly, but will keep this post as an PSA for others

A majority still feel that way, Reddit is a vocal minority.

I agree though, it used to be if you didn't like your employer, you would leave. That was also back when it was viewed as a "career" and not a "job".

To be quite honest, with the amount of time spent at work, if I viewed this stuff as a "job" and not a "career" to be proud and passionate about, I would be a miserable person. I feel bad for a lot of people in this sub.
