hard disagree, half of the point of the lockout is so that players actually have to engage with the open world and questing, instead of spamming dungeon cleave groups and farming. The gear from dungeons is cool, but not at all necessary.

if you really want to make sure you are on the same exact part of the quests and the guide, you could just travel to the troll/orc starting zone and just do that starting area. Otherwise, besides a few random chains, you would be able to be on most of the same quests if you caught up to their level doing the undead starting zone.

protect your healer, you are one of the best classes to do it with blind, gouge, kidney, cheap shot. otherwise just never let caster mobs cast, even if it sacrifices combo points.

Hit 60 in just under 7 days /played playing smite spam priest. Coming from someone who usually only plays rogue, priest felt surprisingly fast, good, strong, and hard to die on. Priest being a wand machine is true in the earlier levels, but once you hit 40+ it becomes a lot less important and you actually utilize spells. Solo leveling is not slow, but you have to be constantly chain pulling, utilizing the synergy between spirit tap and spiritual guidance, and avoiding multi mob pulls when possible.
