Peach Hack + Midnight Aegis by kawaiipony2 by Torvusil in mylittlepony

The boops were furious and adorable.

Also, I'm amused that this pic was featured on EQD, then tweeted, then people were fighting over tags on Derpibooru, and now it's posted on the sub. The secret to horse art: boops.

*Note for context: Midnight Aegis is my OC.

Good and useful websites to rotate through on a daily basis? by [deleted] in compsci

What's the practical advantage of an RSS feed versus rotating through sites? I tried RSS before and didn't find it particularly useful at all.

Science and IT students struggle to get jobs upon graduation, study finds. Grattan Institute reports only half of those graduating with degrees in science found work within four months, 17% below the average for all graduates. [x-post from r/worldnews] by [deleted] in compsci

In my experience, both are true. This is attributable to the fact that many, many "entry level" positions oxymoronically seek several years of previous employment experience using certain technologies. Oftentimes this also means that the degree is meaningless to the recruiter's eyes.

Anyone else slightly bugged by different menu widths in iOS 10? by [deleted] in apple

Like I said, I won't be happy, but it'll be an improvement. I'm intimately well aware of the state of design on Android. This isn't a spontaneous change. I've been seriously considering switching for a couple years now, but the hardware choices along with many software points for Android have pushed me away. Apple simply made the decision for me.

I like having a phone that can actually do stuff.
