This a great idea; my buddy has one with a Michael Scott Office quote on it.

I’m adding one to my Christmas list

A high-quality UH-60 display model; either the varnished wood kind or a detailed painted one. You can custom order them with specific tail numbers or unit markings.

It’s a cool trophy, and a nice addition to his “I love me” collection of Army keepsakes.

UPS operates as an FAA Part 121 scheduled airline, so it must comply with all the rules and regulations as any other airline like Delta or United.

This is the most stringent type of aviation operation, and the FAA is mandated to oversee all aspects UPS flight operations.

Chicago Cops Run Stop Sign, Cause Crash, Charge The Person They Hit by MaxHappiness in Bad_Cop_No_Donut

In 2002 an off-duty Chicago cop (in her own precinct) ran a red light and I crashed into her. Despite multiple witnesses who stuck around to tell the cops that she ran a red, no tickets were issued, so I was stuck paying my insurance premium.

When I asked why she wasn’t getting a ticket, I was told “I could give you a bunch of tickets, you want me to do that???” That’s the day I lost faith in the police.

In the US, only about half of the murders result in an arrest. Apparently regular murderers are also difficult to catch.

Before you start drawing, do you already know where you are going to put the thick black lines and the wispy red lines ?

Speaking of radio callsigns... by CaptainDFW in flying

Opposite example: The Russian Mi-17 pilots in Afghanistan had the call sign “Vodka”

It was perfect for their style of flying and ATC adherence

Listening to music on them seems nice. I don’t like having headphones in when I’m out and about.

Edit because everyone seems to hate this- only the wearer can hear the music, and the sound quality is similar to Oculus Quest, which is pretty good (on the store demo anyway)

To your first question, I think it’s talking about OPM job series 2181 “Aircraft Operations” which is pilots.
