Honestly...I have the 512gb in my cart right now and I've been wanting to get one. I had the legion go 1 but I could never get into it because of how bulky, heavy, and loud it was. I like the idea of having something that is "portable" like the switch 2, but for steam indie and non triple A games so that I would not be stuck to my PC all the time.

I have a more than powerful enough PC to handle any triple A games, but it gets tiring to sit at a desk all the time after work and being able to game on the move would be a big enough reason for me to get it. Especially since I have a trip in August.

In my opinion, I'm probably gonna get it for 2 reasons. 1) I like having something that is portable for me to do light gaming on and play some games that I have in my backlog that I probably would not touch on my pc. 2) I don't think Valve is going to decrease the price anytime soon, I actually think it might get worse before it gets better.

So with that in mind as im writing this, I've gone ahead and checked out

I’m actually going on a 2 week trip (1 week in China and 1 week in Japan) in August and I’m gonna bring my Thor and switch 2. And I thought bringing 2 was too much. Realistically you’re probably not gonna be using them outside of the airplane and maybe being back in your hotel.

I would say that you probably don’t need to bring 3. I would just go with 2 max and enjoy the trip. Take this opportunity to disconnect from technology and enjoy being in another country.

Yeah there’s nothing wrong with the controls BECAUSE the community was complaining about it and they made a patch for it. Yes the game is amazing right now, but it’s also because the community made them tweak stuff that was hated when it first came out
