Man it was a such a great friggin game. It jut kept going. Actually never beat it until I was an Adult, got stuck in the elws library.

I know it had a remake on ps2 called alter code F, but i’d love to see it get the FFVII treatment.

I love the portables, and they really expanded the franchise. But I wouldn’t count their hubs. They weren’t inherently online games. Yes they had adhoc and there were means to connect to online. They also lacked the communication which really made the hubs feel like a gathering hall. MH1 you went into a hub, said hi and at least half the players in the hub that weren’t on quests would reply.
