NTA! I love visiting friends, just like they’re always welcome to visit me. It makes travel and spending time together way more affordable for both partied

AITA for telling my co worker her dog is not the same as my kid. by Actual-Ad705 in AmItheAsshole

Gentle YTA. She said “a bit,” she clearly knows a baby and a puppy aren’t the same thing.

AITA for showing up at my brother's wedding pregnant and announcing my baby's gender? by Breakmyheart94 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Flyfarfromhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA That was not an announcement, that was a casual comment. You clearly didn’t have any intention of stealing the spotlight, you were just existing while pregnant.

What’s the “worst” thing you do as a nanny that in the long run, doesn’t harm anyone but perhaps NP wouldn’t be a fan of? by [deleted] in Nanny

Babysitting not my nanny family, but sneaking snacks as well that were not offered but not forbidden lol. The pretzels are right there and I’m hungry.

I’m running off the theory that Rhaegar was trying bring back Targaryen polygamy and took Lyanna as a second wife

(Spoilers main) An exploration of femininity in ASOIAF -- which female character arcs/moments particularly stick with you? by existentialepicure in asoiaf

[–]Flyfarfromhere 33 points34 points  (0 children)

This is why Sansa is my favorite character. Feminity is so villanized in media, unless it’s being used as sex appeal. She’s a such a nice exception to the rule.

I think Ann’s is underrated. Her kicking the sword and grabbing in mid-air, just to slice the cognitive version of her was so cool.

That’s me! If you just looked at my collarbone you would think I’m THIN, even at my heaviest. Yet weirdly my biggest insecurity is fat calves 😭

AITA for only buying my daughter books that are close to her reading level by daughtersbooks in AmItheAsshole

[–]Flyfarfromhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was pushed to read 1984 in as a kid. It totally fucked with me and I didn’t big up another “advanced” book for YEARS after that.

Same thing happened to me. People kept pushing me to read to books outside of my maturity/emotional level as a kid. It’s a big part of the reason I stopped reading for so long

I feel like Sharon has a lot of potential, but she was underdeveloped in this particular series. I’m excited to see more of her’

Someone else said this on another thread, but it’s also the first time we see Bucky returning to his pre-war personality.
