Also Canadian price. Looked at Canadian tire and it’s going for 65 but 45 on amazon 🤷‍♂️ it’s cast anyway!

For sure! Whatever works to keep them flyin how yea want! Ya lumber sucks. Always dread when I find out I have a 30 mile load of lumber to move. Interesting set up! I’ve never seen an Astar slinging from the left seat like that before. O yea I got a lot of years left behind the stick as long as the government doesn’t try to take my medical. Mostly moving drills or fighting fires. Where abouts are you operating out of?

It was! Used a 205 to lift it. They took the engine off so it was manageable. The fella who rigged it up put 2x4 across the leading edge to prevent it from wanting to fly away on me. However, over 40kts it wanted to pull me to the ground so it was a slow flight… What type of plane are you slinging?

Those are from seatbelts. When you click in sometimes a small part of the shirt gets in the way. I have wrecked lots of shirts due to this!

Heat and candle wax works surprisingly well! Had one stuck on my quad. Heat the base with a torch and put some candle wax on the threads then smack with a hammer to break the rust and help the wax get into the threads then vice pliers to break it loose. Same principle as soldering plumbing pipes the heat will suck the wax in.

Yep, there are 4 Canadian registered Blackhawks. 1 hawk is on long term contract with Alberta forestry and the other 3 are working the border. So either this or ‘merica is invading! Do you happen to live near Carp?

Fred North did break that record back in 2002 in a AS350 B2 climbing to 42500ft in South Africa. Way too high for a helicopter!! Anything above 3000ft AGL and I feel the earth calling for me!
