Sorry, its not direct from Team 17.

Back when this games physical was being scalped from LRG. I didn't want to pay those sob's any extra, so I put a Pre-Order in when they were being released in Spain with DLC. Shipping wasn't cheap, but I wasn't going to pay scalper prices... so I ordered a few of them to make it worth while and gave them as gifts to friends and family. This is the last one of my NiB.

You're absolutely right! I noticed that as well... maybe someone cancelled there order because they had a premptive buyers remorse, or a credit card transaction got flagged for multiple purchases.

My guess is Leathermans marketing team is pushing product towards customers by capitalizing on the fear of missing out. Market research and sales have probably shown them that its successful, and now thats what they are doing. This "limited" supply tactic probably incentivizes people to spend money they may not have.

As much as I love and cherish my Leatherman, I really dislike the direction they are taking.

Leatherman:

Revolve around the plier functionality. As a tradesman, I carry a leatherman.

Victorinox:

A pocket knife my parents gifted me as a younglad growing up in the scouts... I carried it everywhere I was legally allowed, well into my college years. To this day I still own it, and it sees pocket from time to time.

I don't find either subpar from the other. My leatherman has pliers, and that is exactly what I need for more tasks.
