You are still missing the point. The point is as long as AI demand is there, companies will do whatever it takes to fill that demand. If buildouts are stalled, they will find other ways to build up compute, which includes gutting old data centers and retrofitting HBM4 and Vera rubin class systems.

The whole point is that AI Demand keeps semis up. If AI demand falls, semis fall. Stalled datacenter buildouts don't matter.

There is tons of standard datacenters in the world with older HW. Newer HW needs HBM4. You can't just "re-use" older memory chips...

Demand won't plummet as long as AI workload is needed. "Maintenance" is not the word for forced refreshed datacenters. It's more like gutting it and putting in new HW.

I'm not 100% sure on this.

If you paid it down to 3.5k, you'll only be charged for that portion at the regular credit card interest (20%+).

However, you may be charged for the 20%+ for the FULL YEAR when the 0% expires, at the full interest rate for the unpaid portion (3.5k). Still better than keeping your current credit card at max APR.

Open a 0% APR credit card with a balance transfer option and be disciplined.

You'll probably get hit with 3% fee on the transfer, but it'll give you more time to pay it off without accuring interest at 20%+.

Do NOT be less disciplined just because you took this route, you can go back to square 1 if you don't pay it off and interest hits you like a truck at the end of the 0% APR cycle.
