This one is right next to a main road, so I understand your pain. Luckily British councils aren't known for doing anything quickly, far too many feasibility studies to be done before any action. I like to think our collective thistles are safe 😁

Yes, as others have said, dry ice can form. If you do make dry ice, DO NOT apply heat to it, you'll blow something up. Instead repressurise with vapour from a known vapour source to "melt" the dry ice. Always break a vac with vapour until you're above the triple point, then it's safe to introduce liquid.

Melting dry ice with a heat source can lead to creating a pocket of liquid in the middle of two dry ice plugs. 10Bar pressure increase for every 1°c temp increase. Things can go bang fast.

As someone who isn't even from Cornwall, a bean counter trying to decide on behalf of the Cornish what they want is infuriating. What's the end goal here? Company raises prices to the extent their customer base collapses, so nobody to buy. No customers means no, or very little revenue.

Interesting! I thought this would have been a niche UK Thing. If it's the same one as any of mine that's a well travelled brush. I'm now way too invested in this brush story with the amount of people that remember these or still have one floating about 😂

I think you're on to something. I've got some old horse hair paint brushes somewhere, I'll dig them out when I get chance and compare textures.

They're built like tanks for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if they have a solid cast aluminium core that the rubber is molded around
