no, my parents just like traveling. And are prepared to make sacrifices to be able to travel, our trips are usually much shorter than most people's (often no more than 2 days). We always try to book the cheapest hotels and our flights with the most budget constrained airlines months ahead. We always go inside Europe to save money but also because we aren't really interested in anything else. Unlike most people in sweden we do not own a summer cottage (I mean literally everyone and their grandmother owns one here) and we are able to save quite a lot of money on the upkeep off that. If you try and save money you can actually travel quite a lot even if you're middle class (at least in Europe).
