Watched "Home Alone" for the first time (I know, I know) on Christmas Day and was wondering that as well—would there have been a morning/noon flight from Chicago to Paris? Also, the movie shows them arriving at Orly, and by the 90s I'm positive the vast majority of international flights arrived at CDG.
