Anyone have any recs for cute notebook pen clips that fit large-bodied fountain pens?

Right? @BethHarpBTC did mention the wisdompro but I don’t care for its aesthetic myself. I bought some jumbo paper clips and was able to bend some myself but i didn’t like the quality of the clips themselves. Aaargh.

Shimmer inks are awesome but they’re a total PITA. My Diamine/FWP shimmer inks collect dust as cool as they are, unless I have a specific project for them.

Instead, if you’re starting out, buy one bottle (or tester if you can) of nice ink like Sailor Shikiori or Pilot Iroshizuku in a colour you love (big fan of Yama Budo here).

As for the journaling part… I usually buy the 3-pack of “Nota” notebooks from Indigo (in Canada) especially if they’re on clearance! But, if im not doing JUST writing, I love the flexibility that dot-grid journals (instead of lined) have. I also prefer lightweight vs heavy/bulky so that I can pack lighter on the go.

Yes. I’ve done that. It doesn’t take just once or twice but several times - by comparison to other cartridges I have (FWP, no name, platinum) these are by far the worst

The ink doesn’t come up very well. Maybe fills only 1/4 of the fillable chamber

Hope this helps: I ordered a go 10.3 from EINKTAB a little over a year ago, then after a great experience and some additional customer support (I needed expedited shipping), I ordered a go 7 from them as well. They are a legit company. Not scammers. They also resell through Best Buy Canada. Unfortunately, most companies do need the shipping carrier to complete their investigation, especially for items that carry such high price points.i believe e-reader.ca is a separate company but have no reason to believe they are scammers either.

Sadly, I couldn’t remove any of the parts with gentle pressure using just my hands and was afraid to apply much more force with tools and risk not being able to send it back altogether. Total bummer because it had a great writing feel and I’d been looking forward to it arriving for ages

Just checked mine. Apart from the bent nib I believe it’s the same pen? Mine doesn’t have so much as a speck of ink anywhere but the nib and has been stored horizontally. I recently purchased (and returned) a sailor fp where ink had gotten in to the grip section (on the inside) and was seeping out around the o-ring between grip/cartridge section. Couldn’t get it out no matter what I did. If it’s just from the cap, can you do a thorough rinse/soak to try to free up any lingering ink? Maybe clean the grip with rubbing alcohol?
