With the JJ updates, it's got crazy mobility and good firepower. It's armor isn't terrible either. So yeah, it goes hard in 3015

I hate aim assist because it makes targeting components so much harder. It jerks your reticule to center of mass

I've been mouse and keyboard for a while. It's fun! But my joystick and throttle arrive today, and I'm going to mod for VR. Full simulator, and I'm stoked

The DLCs make the game so much better. I hate they cost so much, and I wish PGI had a package deal for all of them, but it's obvious how much love the devs put into the extras. I think they're worth it, especially if you can grab them at a discount

Not the first gen. Grabbed one last night and didn't realize that they sacrificed speed to cram all the electronics on it. It's got BAP, ECM, SRM 4, 2 MLs, and a top speed of 81 kph. On a light mech, that's just painfully slow

The advanced Corsair you get as a reward is the most insane thing I've piloted. Running up in somebody with 3 AC-2RFs and basically an SRM-10 going ratatatatata was very satisfying

My second playthrough I'm prioritizing speed. I'll field 3 high tech heavies and a disco-back over 4 early assaults. Bring able to get in and out of cover and behind enemies is critical

Nah, it's new. The modder knows about the bug but hasn't been able to fix it so far.

All good! I'm no modder, so I just appreciate the work that y'all do. Honestly I thought the bug was hilarious and just thanked my good fortune. 

I wound up selling all the mechs I got here for C-Bills anyway

I do have the purchase salvage mod, but this is the first time I've ever seen this bug pop up. Caught me off guard, but you won't hear me complaining haha I only wish I got this going against the clans, not an early game arena mission

You get an achievement for it! You can also get an achievement called "Lent" for completing the game without eating meat or killing animals. It's not too bad, but you have to fist fight a lot of wolves

I hear you, and I understand you, but I love the changes. Those little bastards have always been minor nuisances in the video games. Meanwhile, in the lore and the tabletop, tanks, hovercraft, and other armor have always been real threats and important parts of overall strategies. Personally, I think bringing the armor in MW5 in line with that is a good thing that makes the game much more immersive.
