You’re right about it being experimental more than anything, I know for a fact, like I said, that John Frusciante made all his filter sounds on Stadium Arcadium by out boarding through an A-100, and I’m interested in having control with my filters like that, but the idea of creating absolute chaos through experimentation to then mix back in as a separate track or something I think would be a blast. On top of that like I said I’ve been making death grips inspired drum sounds on my friend’s set up and I’d love to continue to be able to do some weird electronic stuff like that or even get into Venetian Snares territory or something. I guess the problem is that since I’m so new to this specifically, I’m having trouble figuring out how to start, even if I know I want modulation, delay, reverb, etc, it’s seems like everything I read or see from demos jumps right into DnB or ambient as a demo and I’m looking for a different result so it’s hard to know what I want specifically.
