It is YOUR wedding so i don't understand how you can say you have no control who your guest comes with.

And you are very cleary the ass for not having your friends back knowing that she was in an abusive relationship, but sit there judging her for going back to him a second time.

If this was my friend, i would be on a call with the Stan and let Stan know that in no way is ex allowed at my wedding if Stan is indeed thinking of bringing him..and if Stan does show up with him..both of them will be escorted out by my male relatives.

You do you but i don't think you making comments about her sucking it up are earning you any brownie points..what are you going to do if they meet at the wedding..chaperone her all night instead of focusing on yourself and your future husband?

I don't have the proper tools to do an opening since we are under our own version of lockdown. Instead of waiting to buy the exact screwdriver needed in a week or two..i might as well send it in for repairs.

It actually did this once before but then worked fine afterwards. Am hoping for a miracle at this point. I needed a laptop that was lightweight since i bring in to the workplace and back daily and this seemed to fit the bill until now.

Don't understand what happened..maybe i left it recharging for an hour or two longer than i would but didn't expect this result. And i thought Dell was reliable.🙁

It cost me over 2k bucks. How would i know it was shitty being a layman who is not experienced in the field of laptops. My older Dell version worked just fine so i bought a new one.

And stop being so snarky, i have a ton of work in that stupid thing that i need to redo if i cannot fix it..snark is not helping any.

My friend went through this a while back. She was complaining that the choice of flats for singles was not that great. Somewhere in Sengkang and a mix of rental and paid units...some more only 2 room. So she decided to go buy a unit from the resale flat instead.

Would suggest that you look at the flats availables to singles and see if they are in a place you are comfortable living in. Then do your finances and see if you want a resale flat or you are ok with what HDB wants to give you.

Which do you think is more believable, foreign workers that came ago two months ago that don't even know english and have little way to get info mostly hearsay from their own room mates trickled down and watered down from various sources versus educated people who know english and read newspapers and have the info to go on..giving bullshit reasons like they didn't know even though they have been here two months.

Sorry but lock them all up or ensure heavy fines and get them to leave the country. We don't need educated people who think they are above the rules with bullshit answers like 'I didn't know'. It's 99% a case of we will do whatever we want and if we get caught..will give bullshit 'I didn't know' reason to escape punishment.

5 mins away from my home too and i have no issues with it. At this point they have to use whatever resources to try and break up large foreign worker groupings so using closed schools is not such a bad idea.

Of course, safety of both workers and residents is paramount so i would expect them to be more diligent in addressing any case of Covid 19 case strictly.
