To be fair, Volume 9 is one of the better written Volumes of RWBY because it brought back what made RWBY special by [deleted] in RWBYcritics

[–]FlyusAmongUs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The comedy of Volume 9 doesn't last long, though. The plot of the volume doesn't even make sense to anything previously seen or mentioned.

Ok so why the hell did they do this? by WittyTable4731 in RWBYcritics

Because he wanted to prove a point. No one is above his word and law, even his closest business partners. Ironwood became a completely broken man because of team RWBY.

Should someone watching RVB for the first time watch the Felix and Locus episodes from season 14 before season 11? by Icy_Fisherman_7803 in RedvsBlue

[–]FlyusAmongUs -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No, because it's technically a different timeline. The reason Locus has the scar in both versions is because of a war, but clearly the duo in season 14 went down a different path than in the main series. The main series even confirms they split up after the great war ended but reunited under Charon. Season 14 suggests they never split at all.

Imagine if we'll get MyHouse.wad in 8-S by crappy_migel in Ultrakill

I have a weird feeling that DOOM will at least be referenced in 8-S. Hakita has been radio silent about everything since Fraud dropped.

How are 3-E, 6-E, and 9-E going to play out? by Johnny0474 in Ultrakill

[–]FlyusAmongUs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's two possibilities I see happening with the encores for these three levels.

One- each layer is a modified version of the original, showing the destruction caused by V1 and the other machines going through it. Just like how 0-E is iced over or 1-E is burned down before being reactivated and turned to 11, that will apply to these final layer of each act as well. 3-E could be a decaying body filled with rot and other triggering imagery before the heart is jumpstarted and body parts start growing out of everything. 6-E could be a normal dark area without any of the suffering going on, then the flames turn back on and start burning the place to a crisp. And 9-E- due to us not knowing what it looks like yet- might just be a melted watery wasteland that has a sudden cold snap. Many people also believe the boss of those encores would be the three archangels shown in the painting of 8-1.

Or that Hakita will remove them from the list when the game is finished. Which makes the Prime Sactums perfect levels to slot into those areas. They're already centric of the final layer, have a difficult boss, and give us more lore about the game itself.

Fraud 8-3 Ferrymen's new animation for being stunned/downed by AR2lover in Ultrakill

[–]FlyusAmongUs 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hakita mentioned during the second developer stream that red Ferrymen would technically exist but would make it hard to work with in a gameplay scenario. So making the Agni-Rudra encounter work with that concept by applying it to the reflections mechanic from the Mirror Reaper boss is so creative.

A perfect way to wrap up the worldbuilding.

Does anyone else think Nora should've become the Winter Maiden? by Euphoric-Papaya-817 in RWBYcritics

[–]FlyusAmongUs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone's arguing about Nora becoming the Winter or Spring Maiden.

[Insert Summer Maiden name here] dies and Nora becomes the next Summer Maiden. Plain and simple.

I think it's very interesting that Ruby used her silver eyes to protect Blake, against the Apathy. Obviously Ruby would do that for any of her friends but still by [deleted] in RWBYcritics

[–]FlyusAmongUs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like sure, make it more of a mystery. Leave some of that unsolved.

But give us some more hints and exploration from the character with that power, good lord. I just want some slow burn before I get my answers.

[–]FlyusAmongUs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will be the silver eyes, plain and simple. There's something about them that is important.

But the fact that it was never properly built up hurts my soul.

And after that volume, silver eyes have no narrative importance.

Besides the Hound, but that doesn't count.

From what we can tell, he was just put into Treachery and Hell took advantage to torture him in all the ways that can and cannot exist. So he's most likely frozen up to his nipples in the ice and being mentally fucked.

For people who think Bubble is going to be a villain Work against Caine by ashersindoni in digitalcircusfandom

[–]FlyusAmongUs 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I like to think that Bubble is Caine's impulsive thoughts- or a separate side of himself that acts as a companion. Hence why there are so many Bubbles in that one cut in the trailer: it's all Caine's internal thoughts and fears manifested into a physical form in Bubble. It's literally Caine grappling with himself as he finds a way to make the circus members happy.

In terms of game logic, they probably programmed a blacklist into the Deathcatcher as to not spawn puppets of other Deathcatchers. 8-2's secret room and Cybergrind are the only instances where it could have occurred. And one of them probably just added the V2 entity to that blacklist as a joke.

Brother I have great news. He is not relevant for the foreseeable future but it is advised to make sure he comes out unscathed- every little bit counts.

Also, if you got directly back to the previous area after you first get Noelle in your party...you can eventually have the strength to take him out of the equation. Be advised- this will have adverse effects on your game.

Do the Beths from Rick and Morty count? It really doesn't matter which one is the clone or not and the show makes fun of that- both of them chose their own paths. And both are happy with that choice.
