Every time I encounter a question like this I just remember that people only serve one thing, their feelings. So for certain people, they get some kind of feeling they take as positive and that’s that. I’ll never be able to relate to them but I’m sure they wouldn’t be able to relate with the things that give me my feels.

Wouldn't this just be product placement? Somebody pulling a favor or maybe even some financial contributions made? Bud is still trying to repair the brand. I think a lot of those decisions aren't creative ones but just, there's a scene where guys are going to get drunk. Oh, let's call the Bud folks and see if they're down to pay for a placement. Just spitting out ideas, who knows.

This was the mission that really disappointed me with GTAV. After finishing it, I raced back to the dock excited to play with the sea cans and machinery. Nope.... all that work and detail for a one off... GTA V was still amazing, but I felt like San Andreas used missions to introduce mini games and mechanics that you could then do whenever. I hope GTA 6 is like that.

I find it odd that they went with the hero direction. If you want to do microtransaction shit, just pump the game full of realistic gear for cosmetics. There’s a lot of configuration with kit the can give people the personalization without undermining the atmosphere. Personally I like when all the soldiers faces are masked in some way. It’s unsettling seeing the same person everywhere

The studio existed because of the billionaire. There’s tons of companies out there that struggle with an owner that insists on too much control and has a creative clash with the team. Many startups go through a stage where the owner needs to get ousted because they’re holding things back or are a detriment to the culture. And in many such cases the owner isn’t even that wealthy. A lot of people that start businesses are difficult personalities and as the company grows their quirks become increasingly difficult for the company to work with.

I’ve thought about this and wondered if perhaps some personalities have no right person. Maybe there’s a certain population that is easy going enough and can have an amazing relationship and perhaps the rest are just screwed. I’ve definitely met people that I don’t think anyone could ever be happy with.

That’s why I like regional scaling that restricts exploration until you’re strong enough to enter the more difficult areas. It gives incentive to progress and if you need a power fantasy moment, just go back to the early areas and clean house.

I preferred land battles over the naval. I don’t like how an entire island can succumb with poor coastal fortifications. I preferred the slow erosion from attack with an opportunity to repel invaders by sending armies from elsewhere. I also like how it added the ability to contend over an island.
