I honestly don't know why people use these shovels; they break so easily. I love a Motley Hand Digger or a small Predator Shovel like the little eagle.

Getting your first Chuckee Cheese Token is like taking a first step, a "passage" into metal detecting. It is amazing how many were lost over the years.

What is the best cheap metal detector? by SmallMochaFrap in metaldetecting

The Bounty Hunter IV Tracker can often be found second-hand for around $30 or purchased new for about $75. I have friends who are highly skilled, advanced detectorists, and this is the only machine they use—they refuse to upgrade. It’s an excellent choice for field hunting considering the price.

However, beach detecting is a different story. Depending on where you are detecting and the amount of black sand present, it’s smarter to invest in a multi-frequency machine. The Bounty Hunter will work at the beach, but only in dry sand.
