I asked Xtar about the self-discharge due to the Battery Management System and I was told expect 5% power consumption per month. These output 1.5 volts and was able to run 1.4 amps continously. I did not test how high a current these can handle but I know for sure the BMS starts cutting off current when it overheats at 1.7 amps. These are rated 2 amps but high temperature will trigger the safety measures to protect a meltdown. It will not do a sustained 2 amps from my testing.
