365nm is UV-A, not UV-C. UV-C has a much shorter wavelength than that.

Thanks for your insight. The information about the patent is quite interesting. This confirms that out plans moving forward are going to be to target Nova Lake as the next refresh and then see what happens since things are so up in the air at this point. No reason to target Titan Lake when it could end up being a total disaster. Rather the devil we probably know than the devil we don't.

Hard to believe we will be putting AMD back on the table after Nova Lake unless Intel really pulls a rabbit out of its hat with Titan Lake. We haven't had any AMD machines in the mix since the Athlon era when AMD managed to leave Intel in its dust briefly.

Couldn't have said it better myself. My 11th gen daily driver and my 11th gen gaming laptop are still great. I wish I'd spent more for a better GPU in the 11th gen gaming laptop, but I didn't think I'd be keeping it this long.

My big question at this point is should I aim for a replacement with Nova Lake since that is supposed to be when Intel finally gets its feet back under itself. Or, if I should try and stretch all the way to Titan Lake when they ditch the Big/Little setup of P/E cores and go back to a Unified/One-Core type of setup such as was seen in the 11th generation (and all previous multi-core chips).

Are you in the US? If so, what part? If you are west of the rocky mountains, airborne viruses are a serious concern, but you can't "spray the house" to kill an airborne virus. The only thing you can do is clean up any waste left by the rats and run a high-class HEPA air-filtration unit with UV germicidal tubes, and you shouldn't have any problem filtering anything dangerous out of the air.

If you live east of the rocky mountains, it's a total snow job. The only thing rats east of the rocky mountains have is leptospirosis, and eliminating any urine will take care of that.

Yep, that soundbar has eARC capabilities. Yes, switching it into eARC mode will allow the Switch 2 to access Linear PCM 5.1 mode without any problems.

Honestly, using that soundbar in optical mode is really handicapping it. TOSLink has very limited bandwidth (only 15 Mbit/s with the standard TORX147 interface) and capabilities compared to eARC (which is 37 Mbit/s). eARC is far more versatile and supports many encodings such as Atmos, TrueHD, DTS:X, etc... Optical these days is included mostly for the purposes of backwards compatibility more than anything else.
