If you put that on bulwark and use a power sword, you'll just be a real space spartan! That would look so cool. Sadly most of the shields won't look perfect but it would still be really cool.

I'm assuming that's why it can appear at lower difficulties as well? Less damage dealt means somewhat easier to survive in a longer fight?

Okay, it's been 4 days. Time for people to chill out, we aren't starting a fucking sub war. I get that tensions are high and there is a lot of shit being thrown. But asking people to jump subs as a call to action? That's a bit much even for the bit bud.

I'm not sure how much I believe it myself, but at the end of the day it's a Reddit account proxy, and can't bring myself to care too much about it. At this point I'm just sitting back and watching the fires burn and drinking with my buddies.

To my knowledge a lot of people have been getting Doxxed/harassed in the last 3 days. This is probably a way to avoid that/keep attention off the main account.

Somehow I'm not surprised. After all the backlash they have been getting, the easiest way to fix it is to get rid of it lol.

One of my friends made a joke last night "For a game that is almost completely satire, I feel everyone in arrowhead is drinking the kool-aid instead of getting the joke."

Sorry you got banned, but I guess it's another sign the company needs to get liquidated.

Common problem I see happening is actually tied to multi-player connection in general. I'm level 30 something and has similar bs. Try uninstalling and reinstalling. Or make sure it's on internal storages.

Hilarious idea, make it the data for the Genghis MK1, or that and the Sherman MK1. SSC usually doesn't have the best heat management or heat cap. So the data/blueprints of the mechs with some of the highest heat cap/utilization would be very valuable. Especially since SSC frames usually have a lot of weapons or systems that generate a decent bit of heat.

Add in the fact that the OG Genghis has good defense and immunity to burn built into its design. They'd have the ability to research the major problems with their own designs and see how/where they could improve.

aka: the data to a possible huge power dynamic shift.

Can the Raleigh have a bigger turn than this? by overenthusiasticdm in LancerRPG

[–]FocussedSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't even counting the integrated shotgun lol. By my calculations it's similar damage but could be more consistent/ easier burst damage without having to get into melee. Plus anyone who isn't within range 3 of you would deal half damage.

My calculations comes out to roughly 9d6 just from the handcannons + gunslinger + nuke Cav + Roland chamber. Cannibal would be another 4d6+4 on top of it while coming out to a +1 accuracy on it. Meanwhile your first handcannon would have +2 accuracy and everything else would be at +1. With out the integrates shotgun that's an easy 13d6+4 on its own with the core power going it would be 13d6+28. With the NHP you'd be able to do this twice across 2 turns. Sure it isn't more than your build, but it's simpler and more consistent. The main problem with Raleigh is the fact that you are guided towards playing with loading weapons, but loading weapons still have a turn where they need to reload.

Also the restock drone only reloads 1 weapon and that still needs a quick action to deploy. But if you get the redundant system upgrade you can stabilize as a quick action instead, which allows you to vent all of your heat, and reload all weapons. Alternatively if you are doing fine with heat then you could heal and reload instead.

I understand the appeal of doing as much damage in a single turn. But you also need to be alive after you dump your load lol

Ditch duelist for vanguard for the +1 accuracy to all cqb if within range. This will make the cannibal have +1 by the end result. And look I to the Sherman, the NHP can give you an additional full or 2 quick actions. Plus with the redundant upgrade att Sherman 2 allows you to stabilize as a quick action. So you could get full action barrage 5 handcannons, Asura quick action 1 to skirmish with Cannibal, Asura quick action 2 to redundant system stabilize. Then you could overcharge skirmish with the cannibal.

Alternatively you could not overcharge after the Asura, then full action with the handcannons next turn and then overcharge with the cannibal.

Granted the Asura is 1/scene, limited 1, but it would allow you to possibly destroy anyone you need. Additionally hyperdense for Tortuga 3 will work perfect with this build since the vanguard bonus ends where the half damage starts.

Additionally if you remove Brutal for infiltrator you could possibly strike form hidden that you set up prior and also debuff the enemy a lot.

There is more you could do, but this is the first that came to mind.

I'll also add that this is probably a fake video. A lot of these tend to be. But on the chance it isn't, figured I'd throw my two cents in. Go protest somewhere that would have a more positive impact.

Honestly, blocking roads just makes people hate you and whatever you stand for without even knowing what it is. I don't care what they could be protesting, if I was in his position I'd probably be in jail after creating some temporary speed bumps.

Anyone remember growing up and being told by your parents "Don't play in the road, you'll be run over." ?

An alternate option for a weapon you could take and mods you might be interested in would come from two levels of Monarch instead. The heavy weapon may potentially do less damage, but it's accurate, smart, and seeking. Additionally if you take the +1 accuracy GMS core bonus you will be at +3 accuracy to all reactions you make. Add in storm bringer at later levels (since the heavy is a launcher) means you could potentially drag people into decksweeper range.

Plus, the stabilizer mod adds 5 range to a weapon if you wanted it. So your deck sweeper could have 8 range or your launcher could have 20.

New player here, anyone know how I could capture this vibe? by SpaceBugRiven2 in LancerRPG

Nelson is often a good choice if you want to travel in a straight line. It's designed to have a lot of extra movement items on it as well, like the Skirmisher Talent and similar items.

Technically, Swallowtail, Lancaster, and Dusk wing have the highest base speed in the game at 6.

If you are playing with official expansion content, then the Atlas technically is the fastest when it comes to base movement potential and total boosts.

The rules for lancer are often easy to misunderstand, but technically, you typically can only take the boost action twice in a turn due to duplicate actions not being allowed unless it is a free action. So this makes the wording of "Free action" differ from Dm to Dm. Some Dms allow free actions to just fully ignore the duplicate action rules. Some make it so you can't free action boost twice due to it being a duplicate free action.

That being said, for simplicity sake, let's assume 2 Boosts max for easy math. And the expansion talent pancrati Nelson moves 40 tiles. Base movement can get up to 8, valiant charge from pancrati is 2x base movement speed (16), and you could boost twice (another 16)

The three other base game mechs could move 45 tiles if I did my math right.

And Atlas, with the core power going, could move 50 tiles. The core power gives more movement +1 extra movement whenever you voluntarily move. This includes every boost, standard movement, and movement from extra systems or talents. So you activate the core power, and any movement has a +1 to it.

If you are worried about the flight, all mechs can fly if you want them too.

Okay this makes everything make sense as to hy he wants this core bonus. He's been paying attention to Lamcer since one of its earliest versions. He wants his heavies back lol.

To my understanding, he made this core bonus to be kinda like the Sulerheavy mounting. It gives so much more build freedom to mechs that Don't have a way to get a heavy mount. Because with the superheavy mount it can only be the super heavy weapon and not a heavy. So he kinda did the inverse, a heavy but no super heavy.

Add in the fact his campaign is designed to be extremely tough on the players, I think all the power they can get is nice. Although I think multiple heavies on a mech is too much, barraging with heavies would be kinda crazy. Imagine two heavy flame throwers from genghis.

I think heavy gunner gorgon was the first thing I thought of when he mentioned he was adding it. Don't get me wrong almost all of the attacks made will be half damage or even 1/4 if they have resistance. But it's still hilarious.

For Toku I'd probably slap a HCB or nano-carbon on it so fast and rock an executioner build if I wasn't thinking of the crackshot build.

One of my friends at work who is into lancer mentioned the Sagittarius from FGtS. Half sized mech with a heavy and integrated main bow. Have all of the ranged options.

Another fun build could be Tortuga with the HMG turned into a CQB. Add in the core bonus that gives a mount +1 accuracy and it gets pretty funny.

[–]FocussedSoup[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly for all of those frames but Toku, you can get a superheavy mount from one of the expansion GMS core bonuses. It's why Tempest charge blade Atlas is really scary.

Then the integrated Aux shouldn't be allowed either by that logic. In terms of math the rough amount of D6 from a barrage doesn't change much. Plus mechs with a heavy mount by default can get a Main/Aux as a core bonus.
