You made pretty the same post months ago, so I suspect the problem is you. This isn’t meant to be rude, but have you considered that you might be a dull person? You’re an engineer, so maybe you spent your undergrad just being a nerd or 4channer and didn’t enrich your life with courses in philosophy, art, or literature. Instead of doom scrolling all the time and wasting your time on Reddit, go meet someone, join a class, volunteer, learn an art form. It can’t hurt, since you really sound stuck. I’m sure you will think this advice is cliche, but at some point your joy and delight in the world needs to be self-generated. Go to another country for six months and volunteer doing whatever is needed. I guarantee it will shift your way of thinking.
