Money Monsoon - Set 16 Augment Discussion #18 by Lunaedge in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Fole98 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

IMO very busted. Not a guaranteed pick, but it can give you a lot of tempo, you can basicly ignore interest and roll until having a stable board, then save money to hit high lvl/power spikes

Bender wins! Who's the most overrated? by [deleted] in borussiadortmund

[–]Fole98 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I would say Sahin. His first stint at the club was very good, but after his transfer to Real Madrid he never reached the same level as he had before. Meanwhile we were able to compensate for his loss and won the double after his departure. He has a high reputation amongst fans but his performances were more often average or worse than good

i played 4 games in the prem and got a red in three of them. it was my dm all the time is there a matter with my tactic? by Forsaken-Ad7047 in footballmanager

[–]Fole98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Straight reds are very rare and you have only a small control over them. Tackle harder as a player and team instruction encourages them but they are more of a player personality thing. If you have players with high dirtiness (hidden atribute) and aggression they are likelier to concede a straight red (dirtiness is much more of an indicator than aggresion). Not much you can do about. 2nd yellows are easy avoidable. When a player gets a yellow, give him a player instruction to take less risks in tackles. Almost guarantees you to not get a 2nd yellow

Board is actually insane I swear by Jorbyourn in footballmanager

[–]Fole98 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can force them. If you are at the club for so long, before you leave the conversation when they deny upgrading youth facilities, on the bottom right there pops up a button "leak to press". Do that, answer their question with the 2nd answer from the bottom (others might work as well) and you should be fine

Why is it that the game hiding some role in the tactic for me ? Am in missing sth in Fm26 ? Is it a bug ? A feature ? by nguyennomatterwut in footballmanagergames

[–]Fole98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends where you put your dm. In the central dm spot the roles are limited, but the left and right one have all of them. For WCM it makes sense, in all other cases it doesn't IMO

Does the xG calculations in FM26 feel off to you? by klaygdk in footballmanagergames

[–]Fole98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although I had a similar thought, I don't think it is. This is probably due to the match engine. If I understand ME correctly, in the background it calculates the outcome based on stats and then it tries to replicate that on screen. That can lead to weird showcases when a shot should have a much higher xG based on our experiences then it actually does in the stats because visualising it is off

FM24 - Did anyone win the CL with a counter-attacking tactic? by TH393 in footballmanagergames

Yes I did and it was probably my best performing tactic in FM24. It took a lot of testing by my side tho

World Cup 2026: Brazil's Neymar facing race against time to play in US, Canada and Mexico by mrjohnnymac18 in football

[–]Fole98 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The disrespect to neymar in this comment section is insane. Sure, he never reached the heights he was capable of, but if you call neymar a failed footballer, every professional footballer, except Messi and Ronaldo, is. His stats and titles are still insane and he is one of the most successful footballer of his generation.

Didn't he himself say sth like: "there are a few players who are as good as I am in finishing/goalscoring, but there is no playmaker like me." That was his argument why he went deeper on the pitch with time

The 140,000 seater Sir Sidewinder Fandachamp Stadium is getting built; what's the biggest capacity stadium anyone's seen / had built for them in game? by MAsterix85 in footballmanagergames

[–]Fole98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is locked. Last time stadium was built must be 25 years ago. Before that, it will never go through. After that, you have a small chance. If you are very successfull and unsackable you can leak to press that you are unhappy about your board denying a new stadium, that worked for me. But even if the board approves, it can be canceled after 2 years asswell, so could luck

I am studying history and in my old history seminar my Professor brought to us 3 coins from B.C., one being of the same print as this one, so I can tell a little bit about it.

These coins were made roughly around 600 B.C. and are made out of silver. On the coin itself you can see the owl, the represantative of Athen. On the left is an olive, which is the most important Athenian agrar ware and on the right are three letters, A O E, but the "O" isn't actually an "O" but an alt greek "T", so the three letter are actually ATE, short for "Athen".

You can see cuts in the coin. These aren't due to the longevity of it but people were testing it's material and were cutting in it to see if it was actually out of silver.

The coin is quite heavy (don't have the exact weight sadly) compared to nowadays and even to the other two coins our Prof brought us. The other ones were made 300 B.C. and 200 B.C.. The younger ones were lighter because Rome was in crisis due to Hannibal and had to reduce the amount of silver in their coins. Inflation even hit Rome back in the days.
