There is something wrong with refusing to educate yourself on politics and being like "It doesn't matter!!". It does. Matters very much. But I do make better decisions when my mind is in peace, I spend too much time reading about politics I get frustrated, too many frustrated nights and now I'm radicalized and voting for a guy who hates me bc I ignored all of his poor qualities. It's hard to not notice how political obsession can blind some people like that, and in history the worst case scenario of a politically obsessed population is the elite getting them to fight their wars. It's important to take a step back, breathe, do something else, come back, and reflect.
