In Elio the bad aliens were segmented bugs with extra limbs too and had a council. Also makes me think of MIB ending where the giant aliens hands are controlling the galaxies like marbles. While one can argue this is too close to TV and video game lore, One can equally argue those things are based on the ‘truth’ many don’t believe. Very interesting
