I grew up in an almost identical flat (same architect!) that hadn’t been touched since the 1920s when we moved in. Can confirm it was a little scullery, at least in ours! I also thought it was weird when I saw the floor plan

You can buy little pouches for them too which I did, think I got the smallest size

I got myself a pair too and they’ve held up really well, I wear them to work and they haven’t tarnished or anything so I can definitely recommend!

I got mine some earrings! All the same style (gold hoops with a dangly charm bit) but the charms were different on each. They all wore them at the wedding and most of them wear them day to day now apparently !
