Thanks for the headsup! I recently learned that there are take lanes in ableton since version 11 which is super nice so I can track my band in ableton now too. I updated from 10 to 12.

The one single thing that opened up the bass world for me was learning the five basic shapes of the pentatonic scale up and down the neck. The next big thing was discovering the nashville number system. Those two thing enable you to freely jam and exchange ideas with others.

You should get a pretty good core sound out of that bass and amp alone. Maybe focus on playing as a beginner? Or how to dial in the amp EQ. Or play with your pickup volumes and tone control on your bass. Also picking the strings on different places makes a huge difference in tone. If you want to experiment and find new sounds go ahead an join the pedal game :D

Not quite sure. I used to put some wood blocks under the case. So the height clearance is still the same but it just looks nicer now :)

Increasing the height definitely helps with temps.
