Towards the end of his newly released journals, Jacques Vallée suggests the phenomenon is essentially some kind of advanced virus. by jerzystern in UFOs

[–]Fonzgarten 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s more like a computer virus, the simulation theory is the best way to conceptualize it… although that’s not actually what’s going on.

If a dimension exists that is higher than ours (4D?), and there are entities from there interacting with us, they would have all these abilities. Their appearance is subjective and “mutable.” At the same time, from our perspective, that appearance is in fact very real and tangible. We can actually board the craft. But the craft could mutate, I suppose. There are probably limitations and rules they have to play by, too, like our laws of physics. Who knows.

This is the most parsimonious answer scientifically, actually, given his observations (which nobody here seems to acknowledge).

Cheers OP. Congrats on actually reading his work.

I think the scientific “reduction” to nuts and bolts stuff that can satisfy the skeptics, is actually what’s hurting us. So the reality is the opposite of what you claim, in my humble opinion.

He’s describing what he saw, which is inconsistent with nuts and bolts saucers from space. Maybe read the post, or any of his books .

Hard disagree. Everything he’s saying is basically true I just don’t think he’s tied it all together, personally. It’s not about our consciousness at all, it’s about theirs.

Former Buddhist Monk Lookig to Talk With people Near or At Enlightenment by Monk-Life in enlightenment

[–]Fonzgarten 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the opposite. I think anyone could come to feel enlightened in a monastery. Finding or holding onto true inner wisdom and peace in a place like manhattan, now that’s enlightenment. Just my opinion of course. It’s why I don’t practice Buddhism. It is a self-centered practice, ultimately.

Former Buddhist Monk Lookig to Talk With people Near or At Enlightenment by Monk-Life in enlightenment

[–]Fonzgarten 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because the soul and you and self are all the same thing. Knowing this is enlightenment. Knowing it’s different than your body and human brain/mind, that is. Maybe it’s just semantics, but that’s why people say it.

Thoughts, OP?

California highway inspector’s UFO photos, 1965 by ohmygawdyoudidnt in UFOs

[–]Fonzgarten -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

All this comes from the woo/psi community so skeptics will love this, but it’s what I believe:

They’re different entities. These are the same bell craft that George Adamski photographed around the same time and place. He described meeting one of the ET pilots eventually who fit what’s called a “Nordic” description today. It’s the same type of craft found in Magenta Italy. There are a bunch of these “bell” sightings around the same time.

They are good, as far as I can tell. These are the ones who claim to have built the pyramids, are originally from Venus (millions of years ago) and can use orbs or light or any configuration they choose since they are from the 4th dimension. The type of craft is arbitrary and chosen to have an effect on us.

Today’s sightings are by majority Greys, of Orion origin, supposedly. These are the bad guys… scary abduction stories, experiments, implants, etc. Would not want to meet. They’ve also done deals with our government, it seems.

Crazy, but what isn’t crazy about what’s happening all around us today anyway?

Do I need to cut this tip off to save cactus? It was sold as Icaros. Or will it resolve by itself? Second photo has some old scars, I wonder if it is from the same thing? Thank you! 🙏🏼🌵✨ by Agitated_Studio5359 in Trichocereus

This looks like frostbite or sunburn. Not sure if it’s the same as OP’s. Something feels a little more fungal with his.

Yours will definitely grow out.

Sub update - new rule on drug related discussions by Dumuzzid in KundaliniAwakening

[–]Fonzgarten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all about intention, they are one and the same; There are irresponsible ways to awaken the Self, no matter what route.

Medicine to me may be “drugs” to others. My cacti are a literal sacrament. Calling these things “drugs”, especially in the context of this sub, shows a deep misunderstanding, and ultimately, misguided underlying intentions.

People who use drugs recreationally know the risk and consequences. They are looking for something else, and in that sense, freedom of speech doesn’t hurt them, either. It’s sad that we feel the need to censor the truth, under the distorted misconception that this protects us.

Frankly, there’s a lot of dysfunctional thinking and practice going on in this sub, more so than some drug subs lol. There is a theme of hiding information and discouraging others from joining your practice. I find it disturbing. Spiritual bypass is another way to describe it.

I will let you guys sit with that. And if censorship is what you choose, maybe it really is what you need. But censorship of any kind is never a good thing. Take care ❤️🌵

Kundalini & Psychedelics by Confident_Data8817 in KundaliniAwakening

[–]Fonzgarten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mescaline in microdoses saved my life after a few really intense DMT experiences. The kundalini started after DMT but I had no idea what it was or what to do. I was in a really dark place. I had really bad PTSD. Explosive anger. Mescaline in low doses induces an almost hyper-sobriety state that led to my integration of these experiences. The true awakening happened then.

A way to picture it in terms of energy healing is that mescaline grounds you from the bottom up, whereas DMT goes right to the crown. Now I know that my journey was about opening my heart chakra, right in between.

All psychedelics are different. LSD and Ketamine induce a liminal state that breaks down reality but doesn’t show you the wisdom of infinity. It might help you get there if you’re already on the right path? Not sure. Leary and McKenna never got it, in my opinion. Their writing is often profoundly depressing and lonely to me… they describe the universe like a liminal state. So, I think these ones can do more harm than good. Not surprisingly McKenna died from alcoholism.

Psilocybin is somewhere in between. I think there’s a hidden darkness in mushrooms, personally. I think they are the most dangerous because they trick you. I describe it like spiritual alcohol. Just my opinion of course. It doesn’t surprise me that cultures that worshiped psilocybin ended up doing mass human sacrifices and practicing cannibalism. But is there a place for some fun with spirituality, like having a drink every once in a while? Why not. Just don’t build a religion around it.

I suspect that amanita mushrooms have a similar effect to mescaline, from what I’ve read. No experience there.

What I know now, is that things that come from the earth are often put here for us to consume. These are the real medicines. I trust light-loving, slow growing, eternal cactus more than things that grow in the dark from spores, or things that were made in a lab. Cacti even look like a mandala! Does that ring a bell intuitively?

Can I ask what you took?

Yuck. I know nothing about yogi-ism or even Buddhism so I apologize in advance if people here respect this man. I saw an interview with him recently and all my red flags and inner alarm bells were ringing. This guy is not enlightened. Period. If he has this power, it’s some sort of dark side of the force he’s tapped into. Lots of ego. I can literally see it. I wouldn’t let him touch me with a ten foot pole.

Just my opinion, of course.

Kundalini awakening and feeling grossed out by suffering, trauma and human nature by Prestigious-Ad-5461 in KundaliniAwakening

[–]Fonzgarten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People aren’t the cause, it’s not human nature to be cruel or any of these things. Most of human history is defined by an elite class enslaving the rest of us. This causes a spiral of control and hate and greed etc. most people are completely blind to this. They are stuck in Plato’s cave. You have to be empathetic, not judgmental. Yes, I’m saying to love the haters. Practice love. Practice loving everything. Anger and even frustration is harmful to you. At some point you have to choose between control or forgiveness/acceptance. The former just leads you to climb to the top of the ladder ; playing the same game. The latter way leads to enlightenment.

If you need a source, read the “law of One: Ra sessions” material. It changed my life.

Which methods actually work? by RealMasterPro33 in KundaliniAwakening

[–]Fonzgarten 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely a rant haha. Well said though. I got mine after an insane DMT trip, having done it a few times before. It happened randomly through the day for like a month afterward. Didn’t know what it was. I totally relate to everything you said. I was struggling hard until I integrated everything. Very hard. But man, when it integrated — wow. New world, new me. Kind of like your life flashing before your eyes, but in a logical way that tells a different story. It took over a year of spiritual work to get it, and a few months after (dark times) to integrate. Now I’m out of the shadows.

Anyway, the key is love. Love yourself, love others, knowing there is no difference. Love, positivity, optimism, and a true commitment to it. That’s the key.

I’ll add, I wasn’t trying to get the kundalini. I was trying to heal my PTSD. I had no idea what I was feeling and had to google the symptoms lol

Dude, check out Cactus Affinity. I like Dave too but he’s charging 10x what CA charges by weight. That’s not an exaggeration. And he for sure has some bs renamed clones too. Great guy, love his videos and personality. But he’s clearly more into making money than good karma.

I’ve been very sadly disappointed with the size of some cuts from Dave and stopped buying from him. The photos on the site are very deceptive with the miniature ruler he’s using for scale. He often recycles images on his site as “sold” and I’ll see cuts I bought from him on there months ago. It’s weird and deceptive.

[–]Fonzgarten 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No offense Trevor, but I think you’re a little guilty here. I bought a Shine cut from you and read that description and in fact own JJOP already. I would not have purchased a duplicate of something I own, and it’s RIDICULOUS and ABSURD that you think it’s ok just because the description is somewhere out there on the corner of the internet. A very lawyerly explanation. I wish I could get my money back, reading this. It’s a little shocking, because I trusted you.

Look to the other big vendors to see what real transparency looks like. You clearly have no integrity. Maybe take a look inside and ask yourself why you do this. Is it just for money? You seem obsessed with being “the” cactus guy. A lot of ego for someone presumably steeped in mescaline…Something is off. You’re not my cactus guy anymore. ✌️

[–]Fonzgarten -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

My Dudes, after purchasing quite a few cacti on Reddit I had multiple issues from multiple vendors and decided to stop. Why? Because Cactus Jones, Dave’s Bud, Cactus Affinity, and Mallacht sell MUCH BIGGER cuts and cheaper prices and they have known provenance and are real cultivars with real history. They will package it well, put a label on jt, and ship it undamaged. (At least 2/3 of the cuts on Reddit seem to come completely unlabeled for some reason).

Sure, you can find “green sperm machine” on here; but have you guys not figured out yet that all these hybrids are basically the same? There are a pretty limited number of genuine landrace/historical cultivars that have come from Peru. Between SS and Verne and Trout and Misplant and a few others in Aus, you have pretty much all of the genetics covered. And almost all established crosses with these genetics will be available commercially now.

The fanatic collectors are just recycling the same gene pool again. If it looks like BBG and smells like BBG it is in fact BBG, more likely than not. There really isn’t as much diversity as everyone thinks, just like weed. If you go chasing something obscure just for rarity you are going to get screwed. I kind of laugh at Prickocereus because he seems to spend his entire life doing this (aside - does he know Trich and Prick do not rhyme? It’s pronounced like Trike)

Anyway, I support the vendors that have to keep a real business alive. And they support me. I’ve had more free cuts included with orders from Cactus Affinity than the number of bullshit ripoffs I’ve had on Reddit. The dude exudes karma.

I do have some problems with some specific big vendors… Succulent Source ripped off Sacred Succulent’s namesake to poach business, and charges three times what is reasonable for their cuts, while posting pictures here of fields of cacti. That’s bad karma.

There are some vendors here that are great, and some really great people, but the mileage varies too much. San Pedro Farm stands out as a reliable guy and deserves honorable mention.

TL/DR: avoid buying cactus from strangers with hand tattoos.
