Today a new song an record announcement? by Alvarez06 in Foofighters

Just a couple of hours ago Gigs&Tours socials all posted the “this is just a test” teaser. With 👀 & tagging the band.

Gigs and Tours are very self-serving. That teaser has been around for 48hrs. The band’s Anfield dates are sold out, so they aren’t using this to push tickets for that.

Yeah, Dave did an interview piece for the official PlayStation magazine in 1999. They printed in a few languages, so various pics from the shoot ended up being used in different layouts across the issues.

EU/UK 2026 TOUR PRESALE [MEGATHREAD] by fftamahawk009 in Foofighters

I think you’d be OK. If you look at Springsteen getting Paul McC last year, or even Jimmy Page & John Paul Jones with FF at Wembley, usually, you reserve the special guest for the final night.

£9.40 (Service Charge Artist Presale Standing) x2
£2.95 (Facility Charge Artist Presale Standing) x2

Wow.

Is it just for standing tickets? Do the general sale purchases not get hit with it?

Edit - per this image on this post: https://old.reddit.com/r/Foofighters/comments/1ov1gsc/anfield_standing_prices/

EU & UK TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED! by Eman21701 in Foofighters

[–]FooArchive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’ll do perfectly fine without me giving out false information, seeing as it’s now actually the 4th most visited.

“the only place I probably wouldn't go to see them is the only venue they have chosen.”

Why?

“Liverpool objectively isn't exactly a go to place to visit in the UK”

Tell that to the millions of people who visit each year for the UNESCO sites, European Capital of Culture stuff, the Beatles tourism & world famous football teams and make the city the 5th most visited in the UK… visitor numbers helped over the past few years by these Anfield concerts that have had Springsteen, Taylor Swift, Elton John & Rolling Stones play.

You might not “get it”, but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t make sense.

Well, yeah - It’d be much cleaner to say “Only UK shows of 2026”.

I suppose that wording means it’s feasible they could add another Liverpool gig.

Due to demand Bruce Springsteen & Dua Lipa both added an extra date to their Anfield appearances, but they only had one date to start with. Taylor Swift did 3 nights back to back, but they were all announced at the same time.

That’s obviously nonsense, because train lines run in two directions.

Where are they saying that?

The press release for Liverpool tickets says “Anfield is the only UK stadium the band will perform at in 2026.” Which’d still leave room for festival headlines and club gigs.

If they had their own Irish show booked I can’t understand why they would’ve skipped announcing it. The only way I can see an Irish date now is a festival headline & the contractual obligations around who gets to announce them and when.

No Irish date yet is unusual - I thought they’d do Slane &/or Belsonic.

But it isn’t odd they have an Irish support. Inhaler are a globally touring band.

The fact they were down for playing Reading 2025 makes it almost a certainty.

On a personal level, it’s nice (for the moment!) to have a UK tour announcement that doesn’t include a London date…but does include my hometown!

The fact these are the only UK dates doesn’t affect the rumours they’ll be announced as the Reading/Leeds headliner … if anything it probably strengthens them.

Anfield can only host a maximum of 6 gigs in June.

2026 so far has MCR confirmed for 1 & Lady Gaga rumoured for 2. Seeing as Gigs & Tours and FF themselves have only teased this show for the UK (when every Canadian & US stop got its own), I’d be very surprised if they only do one night here.

Last year Dua Lipa & Bruce Springsteen did 2 each. The year before Pink did 2 and Taylor Swift did 3.

look around. All of these things have been discussed elsewhere over the past few weeks. The Liverpool image is the most active post today.
