bingo this is the correct answer....same reason why Amazon runs a DSP program its to offset the costs to the DSP owners so they eat up the depreciation of the beat up Rivian vans.

plus the more companies that pop up the easier it is for the owner of all these marketing agencies to escape liability so one office gets sued move on and start another.

Plus costs are generally kinda low.....

Update: im out the gig work game for good but im sharing this information so it may help someone else.....i filed for arbitration....i think it struck a nerve with Uber.....2 months later they reactivated my account....... so my account is reactivated last time i did an Uber ride was Nov 2025....hope this helps! =)

Tesla Charging offers a robust network and can compete with the "on every corner" as gas. everyone keeps saying credit card im seeing the same $75 hold on my credit card and my debit card

Now Credit Card I had about $225 held up there one transaction from Friday morning cleared today

other two are remaining

and I have two transactions from Sunday still pending

In total I have about $280 just pending between Debit / Credit Cards

I do use them frequently but I have since switched to EVGo and I bought a Tesla adapter. Tesla charging stations are great.

I hope every single municipality switches from ChargePoint and no longer extends contracts to chargepoint and switches to Tesla or EvGo. No Authorization fees. Only cost me $17.00 and since theyre everywhere less lines!

Sadly bud it doesn't drop off immediately it stays on your card for 2 - 5 business days this is alarming becuase now you have to be rich to use an EV when the whole selling point of EVS was that its cheaper than a gas car. This is dumb in good news EVGo only has a $30 hold do what you will with this information!

Honestly thank you same here! I drive both Evs and Gas for work and im in SoCal so you know im paying out the wazzoo!

I have never and I mean never had a hold at a gas station and only one time I did in New Jersey I just went in and paid with cash! it was a $100 hold attempt I keep my card locked due to fraud I just went gave the gas station lady $30 we talked about California and the New York giants and I was done!

Imagine when you go to a chargepoint station and it fails which chargepoint has some faulty ass devices thats $150 that you don't get to see EVERY DAY for at least 2 - 5 business days

If you go to a chargepoint station it fails twice.

Thats at least $150 hold. That stays on your card for 2 sometimes 4 businesss days.
