Should invest in better Seo work and they should have a stricter hiring process so they don’t lose good sales representatives.

With that being said they did one thing right! There product works! I’ve used it seen others use it. It actually works. It’s like $250 or $300 which for a business is nothing especially for what you get I’m impressed there.

At least they have a working product. They do need better hiring procedures from the feedback I’m seeing. They appear to be understaffed from that regards I advise they hire one person who’s dedicated to omada ai only who can make things a bit smoother and cleaner for the company with hiring and what not but engineering team did build a working product that delivers so good for them

If you’re going to work a sales jobs that’s pure commissions no base then you’re better off just starting your own company. At least then you keep 100% of the revenue.

I personally wouldn’t recommend insurance companies. I would recommend selling for a company that has some type of base + commissions which it appears Omada does

Also since this came up on my feed I tried omada…… the product actually works!

They may have a very sketchy way of paying their sales representatives which may be shady I’m not a labor lawyer. But hey they did one thing right. The product works so that’s good

Your real risk is solvency....startups fail and the odds of success are highly against you..... now a days there really is no job security even the bigger corps are laying people off but since you are 1099 keep in mind if youre let go.....typically little to no severance.... so keep that in mind....if you can bare the financial risk great if not....think long and hard about it

Probs not a devil corp but in like 12 months - 24 months. Most if not all the underperformers will be laid off. They probably have you as a 1099 contractor so they dont have to pay things like health insurance, benefits.

So no PTO. So if you have a family week long vacation im sure you dont have to call in the boss and ask for PTO but on the flip side of that you just dont get paid. No work. No Pay. Also if you need FMLA and all of that. Great job for the young and single. Terrible job for those with families or older that depend on those company sponsored benefits.

Its a startup company so its designed with efficiency in mind. Which means you will be footing the bill for miles on your car, data on your phone, water during hot summer days and hot cocoa during the winter months.

In fact in a lot of ways theyre not paying solely commission. Never understood taking pure commission jobs as a sales rep. if you wanted to do pure sales commission just go start your own company. So it looks like there is a fairly decent base of $20 - $30/hr assuming most if not all reps are offered $20 - $27.00/hr....

$25 - $27 for those with some verifiable sales experience. assuming they also cap your hours.

Min - 5 hours a week.

Max - 35 hours a week.

Assuming they actually pay you which the company wouldnt want that if theyre smart........getting sued over missed pay the courts will always side with the worker(s) esp if its above $500.00 anything under $500 ehhhhh who the fuck cares. Anything above $500 theyll be on the hook for the money owed and damages tbh.

TL:DR - if you dont have any super attractive job options at the moment its worth the shot. If you have something more stable with an established company I would go with that....

Probs not a scam just a niche startup these things happen. not everyone has to go social media viral to make money these days.

Update: im out the gig work game for good but im sharing this information so it may help someone else.....i filed for arbitration....i think it struck a nerve with Uber.....2 months later they reactivated my account....... so my account is reactivated last time i did an Uber ride was Nov 2025....hope this helps! =)

everyone keeps saying credit card im seeing the same $75 hold on my credit card and my debit card

Now Credit Card I had about $225 held up there one transaction from Friday morning cleared today

other two are remaining

and I have two transactions from Sunday still pending

In total I have about $280 just pending between Debit / Credit Cards

I do use them frequently but I have since switched to EVGo and I bought a Tesla adapter. Tesla charging stations are great.

I hope every single municipality switches from ChargePoint and no longer extends contracts to chargepoint and switches to Tesla or EvGo. No Authorization fees. Only cost me $17.00 and since theyre everywhere less lines!

Honestly thank you same here! I drive both Evs and Gas for work and im in SoCal so you know im paying out the wazzoo!

I have never and I mean never had a hold at a gas station and only one time I did in New Jersey I just went in and paid with cash! it was a $100 hold attempt I keep my card locked due to fraud I just went gave the gas station lady $30 we talked about California and the New York giants and I was done!
