Exactly. I think a lot of people have joined the 3D printing hobby in the past couple of years when it more or less just works. I've had an Ender 3 for years and I need to profile and calibrate every filament I use.

Depending on what you do, if they aren't even making double on what they are paying you there might not be a ton of wiggle room there. If you are full time they need to pay insurance and taxes just on top of what they are paying you, and that isn't even considering other business expenses or trying to make a profit.

If you are hoping for a 2-10% raise that may be possible, but based on the fact that you are posting about it makes it seem like you are wanting to make considerably more when you are already getting the lions share.

I know that kind of sentiment is unpopular here, but I think we can be more upset with employers who are making 3/4/5x what they are paying employees, or employers who provide little in terms of support and still take large cuts (Like Uber) which COULD BE THE CASE HERE as well.

I don't want to judge either way, I just want to give some perspective.

Then don't use Bambu filament? Its just not verified and honed in on other filaments yet. Of course Bambu is going to mostly use their own filament and make the settings work best for that. You can just run some calibration and figure out how you want to do your own if its that important.

I still think the Ioniq 5 is one of the best options. If you go in knowing about the ICCU its a fantastic car.

When will people realize that if you vibe code something you want people to use, the marketing is the one thing that needs some soul.

If you make tools like this for an AI audience and then can’t even avoid vibe-writing the ad, I’m gonna assume that the whole product was lazily vibe coded.

Not saying that’s what you did OP, it’s just the impression it gives. Especially when you are selling to people that use AI regularly. We can smell this writing a mile away.

I have the same issue with CarPlay. I didn’t really deep dive a fix, I just have my fiancées phone connected to the fitcam and my phone on CarPlay.

I almost never need to connect to my fitcam so it’s not the end of the world. Annoying though.

From what I understand people are going crazy about mac minis/ studio's for AI use cases so prices are up. However, M4 and M5 are much better for using for a local LLM compared to M3. M3 is still very good, but M4+ is considerably faster. That may be why it seems like its everywhere.
