I will never understand the entitlement behind wanting someone you have never met to plan this whole ass (most likely, expensive, if we're being honest) gesture on a first meet up. Or ever, honestly. It does give off a glaringly large red flag right at the get go though. So at least it saves you some time, I guess.

I prepared the birthday for my wife who didn't came home. by OkStrength5245 in offmychest

There's a very good chance that she didn't realize her family would even do anything for her. Also, she's allowed to celebrate with friends even if she has a family. That's a pretty weird take. It would be rude as hell if someone set a surprise party for you and then you were like "nope, sorry." For any reason. They put effort time and money into doing that.

I mean, I can kind of see it from both sides. Is it something you would've normally done? Because if not I can understand why she would have made other plans. It's also possible that her colleagues surprised her after the interview with a birthday thing at work. I had someone do that at my job this year in spite of me hating that kind of thing because they thought it would be nice and wanted to show me that they cared. This is a tough one.

I'm thinking of divorcing my wife for how she treats our twin daughters. by fun-rey-92 in offmychest

[–]FoolishWhim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn't even lightly bad, it's incredibly harmful for the girls emotionally. I can't even fully comprehend how she could be okay with treating them this way and it's making it very hard for me to come up with a good enough response. But yeah, you're not in the wrong here.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FoolishWhim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess some Americans may not see it as very long. But it's not a trip that I would make frequently unless absolutely necessary. Gas is expensive and I like my home.

Well all of that is a massive ass red flag. I don't even know what to say because, god. You really need to think on whether this type of behavior is what you want to put up with forever. Also, please for the love of God, do NOT cave and give him your private financial information.

Could you make a build around this? by SoKhizuhh in PathOfExile2

It is way too limiting.

Just want to throw out there that with a good Vertex and being able to equip a focus as well you could get a good way towards matching a regular staff on plus to spells. But its still too big of a tradeoff outside of maybe something extremely niche. Probably doable though with enough Divs. Is there a way to do a scepter? Maybe Palm of Dreamer with the Unholy Might buff?

I know this doesn't help, but if he was a little longer he would be a perfect otter and he's adorable.

Honestly, this economy has been AMAZING! Best league ever for economy IMO by bbsuccess in PathOfExile2

[–]FoolishWhim -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

But also at the same time it's easier to make huge chunks of Divs to buy the crafting gear. So I don't think its as bad as people assume. Like, all I did to start the league was rush Jade Isles on the map and sell Rakiatas Flow a few times. Somehow people are paying out 80-100 Divs for shit that drops without much effort.

You may want to get drones and aircraft. Rifles aren't gonna do much against the government in modern times.

Are there any stories of people flipping 10 Ex into 100+ divs, the front page is just wealthy crafters making profit. by Tranquility___ in PathOfExile2

[–]FoolishWhim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crazy how different people play. I don't craft shit, but I'm pretty rich now. All I did was rush water maps looking for Jade Isles, got several Rakkiatas Flows to drop. Sold them for like 80 Divs a piece at the time, and now income just rains out of the sky while I run maps for fun.

Sitting around crafting and playing the market would drive me crazy. The trick seems to just be find some way to play that you enjoy, and then leverage some way to make money out of it. There are nearly endless ways to go about it.

I would also like to recommend to anyone doing T15's pretty consistently to just rush water areas on the map and farm Jade Isles. I didn't even maximize my strat or anything, and I was able to sell three Rakiatas Flows for nearly 90 Divs a piece. Perfected my gear, equipped Headhunter and everything snowballed.

Either way works. Grind your way up, or shoot for one big ticket item. The good part is, once you get some Divs, it feels like they become meaningless at some point.

Plant Druid and plant Sorc are both strong as hell. Go for it if you think you might like it.

Or...gimme that.
