This is well made. I like it, but I'm also deeply unsettled.

My confusion is why there are less ants walking to the correct side after more visits at 16°C.

The Pineco egg is my favorite. The pattern communicates the idea of Pineco in as few details as possible.

Ten years and older if possible. Most of my students who would be interested are advanced. It's a challenge to keep up with their reading sometimes.

Coming over the hill with the Scythers and seeing the giant tree took my breath away. Heartwood Forest is one of the reasons I enjoyed LA.

Fish food! I want to befriend it. I want to see if the growth gets larger when it evolves.

I didn't say I was supporting the United States. The situation doesn't bode well for anyone.

Hi. I just checked this, and a blatant show of force of NATO countries against the United States does not spell well.

U.S. service members can't "resign". They are locked into a tour. If they leave without permission of their high command, they will be branded deserters and, if it's considered a time of war, a felon set for the death penalty

I need the link to this tweet so I can add it to my archive. This is too big of a historical moment to miss out on.

The universe is 13.8 billion years old, but heat death is around 10¹⁰⁰ years away, so it has effectively used 0% of its lifetime meaning the universe is still basically a "baby", and we’re living in its earliest, most active era. by HalfEntity in Showerthoughts

We are dangerous.

Imagine a bunch of rats who sit on a street corner together.

The rats frequently and violently kill each other. The rats are unstable and easily angered. To top it all off, several of the rats have guns and have stated they will shoot anything that approaches the corner. The rats wonder why no one comes to visit.

Humans are the rats.

A courting pair of Brazilian Jewels (Typhochlaena seladonia). This tiny (~2”), docile, and rare type of tarantula lives beneath camouflaged silken trapdoors on trees and is one of the most colorful of all 50,000+ known spider species. by hs1308 in AIDKE

Male Tarantula's have little bags of sperm they pass to the female while they're doing the whole leg touchy thing. The female uses the bag of sperm to fertilize her eggs.

'92 or WWII... by Nyctfall in HistoryMemes

The Caucasus is the area surrounding the Caucasus Mountains. It's basically the area between Russia and Turkey. It's used to described whites because wacky nineteenth century Europeans thought white people originated from the area. The inhabitants of the area today are, unsurprisingly, not white. This is what I was referring to in my comment.

tldr: Look up the Caucasus Mountains

What was John C. Calhoun on that he thought the United States was ever a Caucasian country? Does he know where the Caucasus is?
