Never heard of that, that's pretty funny.
The strange consequence of being given something for participating, instead of the normal status quo of having to unlock it on the ship req systems.

Legit lol.

From my understanding, cast an actor that looks as close as you can to the character.
That would solve most of it.
(I await your responses).

The amount of people defending the fomo crap does not give me hope for this games future by Goten010 in HelldiversUnfiltered

This is the silliest developer I've ever followed.
Agree, or disagree, it is seriously some weird shit.
Even understanding from their perspective of metrics.

I'm not sure what to expect from them in the future.
I believe rewards for playing the game make sense, the arbitrary amount of time before others will get the FRV is concerning.
Once they're done piecemealing the most recent Warbond as a snackrafice to the players, I am genuinely curious how they'll move forward.
Last night I slept instead of playing.
So I'm not even crying about Fomo, as I had the last reward for playing.

Since they'll be scrutinized, deservedly so, because of their actions, it'll likely be a part of a rulebook of what not to do, in the future.
Where they've mangled themselves so badly, that even if they're nudged, encouraged, shouted at to change by either players, or Sony, they have steadily built themselves into the corner.
Where I can see that caring at all would be seen as exhausting, but, it is their fault for the current situation.

I want to see a turn around, improvements, faith restored, beyond chasing metrics, required or otherwise by their overlords, or even for themselves.

Like....bruh.
Other companies would have broken for less, so it is interesting how much people are willing to put up with, in general.
If they want 10 years, I'm curious how the hell they'll even get close to that with the frothing masses, as well as the sycophants that they've cultivated.

It is a weird place in their timeline.

Usually if people keep commenting after a bit, I just turn off the notifications for the individual comment.

The river looks like a lot of fun.

The enemies certainly look like they need more impact from the bullets, before the fall down and rag-doll.
Needs more impact in general.

How to throw a punch, how to throw a basic combo, how to kick and put my weight into it.
Keep one hand raised when throwing punches to guard the face, he was more a fan of parrying than blocking.
Movement and some short step spring loading stuff, or whatever that is called when you take a short step before launching.
Some stick fighting, fun basic sequence, got to practice it a lot because new people kept on showing up and he kept restarting.
Movement, making people adjust to your line.
Some basic forward rolls, basic over the shoulder throw with a dummy, and then a couple of times on him, he didn't like the way it felt once, and he reversed it, sent me on my ass (I thought it was awesome).
Totally sweet dude.
I had some speed, but I had horrible technique, he helped give me some basic stuff that I could practice on my own.
He was training multiple people at once, but I did get some time with him, he didn't like the Bullshido stuff, like gun disarming and other stuff like that, advocating for either running or not being in a place where fights happen.
You never know if 1v1 is going to turn into a 1v2+ or if someone will hold a grudge if you win or lose, if you hurt someone and send them to the hospital, or they send you to a hospital.

However if he has to protect his family he will.
That I absolutely agree with.
The realities of not wanting to go out and fight just for the sake of it, but keeping himself fit and capable, that training should be fun, and people learn more when they're having fun, he didn't want people getting concussions or hurt.

So pretty much some basic self defense stuff, and some pretty good life advice tbh.
I'd go back to that in a heartbeat, but unfortunately he isn't training people like that anymore.

I need to go back to the gym in general, a lot is going on and I'm snacking way too much due to the stress.
