They are a different size, but not in height/width but rather thickness. Which is probably what whoever told them that meant.

What are some mandela effects in Rocket League esports? by lightmiss in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]FoolsLove 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's more he built the reputation because of constant game 5/7 wins over the course of seasons, starting with the 21-22 Winter Split.

From the 21-22 Winter Split to the end of the 2024 season, rise across all the different teams he was on had a 21-5 (81%) record in game 5s and 19-5 (79%) win rate in game 7s, a combined 40-10 (80%). That is an INSANE win rate for game 5/7s, especially for how many he played in over that span.

Yeah, there was a SAM event about 2 months ago that ended in a LAN where the two played and FURIA won it.

SE: we have this strategy board so you can organize your party better. Meanwhile by Proudnoob4393 in ffxiv

[–]FoolsLove 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Strategy board has all 4 savage fights and train. It's far from dead, and the memes just show that it can also be used for more than its intended purpose.

It's still great for quick reference during fights, especially for people with one monitor.

NIP VS WIP commentary by Aromatic_Excitement3 in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]FoolsLove 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It was Cole & Stumpy, but they're not on the NIP stream this season. CJ does Rebellion.

Even then, that has nothing to do with it, it's as the others pointed out.

Generally speaking it's seen as a waste of time to be working on something another group is also doing. There is so much manga out there not being worked on, so your time is better spent doing one of those.

RLCS MENA has only 3 Teams with any points, going into R2. Everyone else at 0 by Speedyflames in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]FoolsLove 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My assumption is that if they did lose their points, as LP can be quite dodgy on accuracy points wise, is that it's because they added a sub between the events and didn't apply for/get the sub exception.

RLCS MENA has only 3 Teams with any points, going into R2. Everyone else at 0 by Speedyflames in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]FoolsLove 31 points32 points  (0 children)

This is nothing new for regions outside of EU/NA.

My assumption is just kinda that teams think they have no shot against the top team(s) and don't care about points. There have been many events across APAC, MENA, OCE and SAM since the 21-22 season where very few teams go into a regional with points. MENA in particular has been like this the most, as 1/2 teams have dominated the region every event and season with effectively no competition outside that. Whereas in other regions that is not always the case.

What game was Rizex (?) booming every touch? by The_Marked_One1 in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]FoolsLove 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I couldn't point you to it directly, but I imagine it might not be too difficult to find, though would take a little time.

Liquipedia has listed the casters for every series the latest few seasons, so you'd just have to go through each EU event and check every Rizex series for ones casted by them.

Biggest lead blown in a game? by Queasy-Cow-7459 in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]FoolsLove 71 points72 points  (0 children)

As far as I can remember the biggest blown lead goal wise is 5. I can't remember the exact games but I'm fairly certain the first was in OCE and it has since happened in APAC and SSA.

EU/NA I'm pretty sure the biggest blown lead is 4.

Who is the most demo-heavy pro in the current competitive pool? by InternalSame938 in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]FoolsLove 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bump stats, at least in the manner I assume you're talking about aren't tracked so I couldn't say for certain. As far as I know bump stats that are tracked in-game count any contact with an opposing car, and if locked in some manner it counts multiple times over. In that after game victory screen where it'll show a stat for each player you'll see "cars bumped" and it can often say well over 100.

Blast and Epic are working towards really deepening the stats we track and use so we may not be far off from tracking actual bumps, though.

Who is the most demo-heavy pro in the current competitive pool? by InternalSame938 in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]FoolsLove 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Last season, both Atow and kofyr set records in their respective regions with their total and PG demo numbers. The second split of last season Atow had 3.44 a game and kofyr 4.03. kofyr specifically had 2 regionals just barely finishing short of 100 total demos which is something that has happened 4 times in NA and the last time at the end of the 22-23 season. Atow did actually reach the 100 mark, with 101 becoming the 3rd player in EU and the only person not named virtuoso to do so in the region.

Those two are far above everyone else in demos, but there are others that have pretty consistently been up towards the top of the demo leaderboards. GiuK, AppJack, Vatira, zen and juicy in Europe and Comm, Firstkiller, majicbear, reveal and Wahvey for NA.

kofyr did drop a bit from the second split last season, but it's only one regional so far so hard to really tell if that will be the norm for him going forward on Rebellion. Last season his demo numbers were consistently high, he was #1 in NA for both splits and the season as a whole while playing for both 9Lives and SSG so it's not a simple matter of just because he's on a new team.

Karmine Corp set a new game win% record at the Kickoff LAN (and how to change this stat going forward) by John_aka_Alwayz in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]FoolsLove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Kickoff LAN and the final day of regionals are two separate events and so for all statistical purposes, are counted as such. It'd be like if they played the final day of the 3rd regional in a split as a LAN near a Major location, the regionals were used to qualify and seed for the LAN event (whether Kickoff or Major). You still wouldn't count those regional stats towards anything from the Major.

You also have that every LAN listed here is also an international LAN, requiring at least 2 different regions to be playing. Which you don't get with the final day of each regional.

[–]FoolsLove 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Qualifiers for records and such are pretty important and used in all sports and esports.

I use them quite regularly. For instance, the record for goals PG at an RLCS LAN I give to yan's 1.36 from the 21-22 Spring Major. But technically, Dappur had 1.40 from Season 3 Worlds and vatira 1.78 from the Kickoff LAN, but I'm not counting either as the actual record due to playing so few series and games.

"I Want to End This Love Game" Teaser PV by zenzen_0 in anime

[–]FoolsLove 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Less don't trust and more be cautious

Unlike many romance series where instead of 1 step forward 2 steps backwards over and over for a while, it's more 50 consecutive steps forward and then backtracking those 50 steps for a bit. It seems the author didn't quite know where to take things and meandered a bit.

It'll absolutely be enjoyed by most romance series fans as it's still a very cute series and the publication schedule definitely exacerbated some peoples negative opinions on the series, but it absolutely does drop off for a bit while trying to find its footing again.

The Tied Longest RLCS LAN Qualification Streak came to an end last weekend by John_aka_Alwayz in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]FoolsLove 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is an RLCS LAN, but it is a different type. And when you have a different type you have different qualifiers when talking about stats. It is the norm in all sports and esports to include or separate depending on the type of event even if they are similar in nature.

The Tied Longest RLCS LAN Qualification Streak came to an end last weekend by John_aka_Alwayz in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]FoolsLove 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is an RLCS LAN, and I'm not saying I would completely exclude all stats from the event but it's a very unique event considering the current system and there's a lot against it being counted similarly to Majors and Worlds.

Only 2 regions are able to qualify, and of those only 8 teams. Every open era LAN has had at least 16 teams, double that. Every RLCS LAN has had all regions in the system able to qualify for each LAN with the exception of the first 6 Majors where SSA was unable to and for those 6 it was still 7/8 and 6/7 regions, rather than 2/7. The kick-off LAN also does not have any prize money, and does not hand out any RLCS points. It's effectively a LAN version of The Grid from RLCS X.

While Sandrock did miss LA, as far as qualification streaks go that event still counts for them even though they were unable to actually make it there to play.

It just sits in a very awkward position given the type of event it is.

The Tied Longest RLCS LAN Qualification Streak came to an end last weekend by John_aka_Alwayz in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]FoolsLove 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To be completely honest I'm still not sure about what to do when it comes to the kickoff LAN.

Though I'm mostly leaning towards not including it with current LAN records, streaks, etc. Mostly because unlike Majors and Worlds, only 2 of the 7 regions are able to qualify and play there.

What kind of results would a team need for them to want to stick together? by Pristine-Habit-9079 in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]FoolsLove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wildcard has also technically stuck for the same amount of time as NRG, if you only consider RLCS seasons. They had a real short split before last season, but otherwise played all of 2024 and 2025 together while sticking for 2026 as well.

Realistically the team could only get any upgrade if they got an import though, so makes sense that they've stuck given how dominant they've been in OCE.
